20/7/2010 15:46 | ...oh and Mr Cropper - whoever he is - was apparently keen to take on plenty more...Go figure (in the words of TA)... | trixter
20/7/2010 15:45 | Jason Cropper obviously saw value...anyone know who he is? Jason...? There are lots of them out there, including the 'e-cig magnate'. Couldn't be this one could it?; especially given a further possible link on that front..? AIMHO, DYOR etc. | trixter
20/7/2010 15:11 | Not sure about the "speculating on a bounce" comment bbw, many of us here are long-term holders, looking for them to build a valuable business. There will, of course, be some speculation here, but I guess that goes without saying for any AIM share Most of the risk here is associated with trust in the Directors I've noticed that one thing they have been doing for a while, is playing the company down, whilst the share price has been going up. This looks suspicious to me... A little while back, one Director hinted to me that things were not good, possibly implying that I should sell ...... that was just before the first share price rise and the positive ofcom news. The same happened when I asked about business just before the next rise and the CAH announcement. Go figure..... I think they wanted my shares on the cheap. They may have been doing the same with Craven recently and the same with weak private investors, by hinting of selling assets in the results... If they did decide to sell, say, 7.5% of CAH to pay off all debt and give them cash for expansion, it might be a very good thing. It could leave them debt free, with cash in the bank, all the UK assets, 30% in CAH still and presumably, generating cash (if the costs are about to be vastly reduced, as I expect them to be going forward, given the new regulatory environment they now trade in) | the analyst
20/7/2010 14:53 | i don't agree it looks good they made a loss in q1 and an ebitda profit q2 (could still mean a loss) they strongly inferred uk opps will need further funding via selling down of cah stake this implies that in the directors opinion, the uk opps are not expected to produce positive eps this year you are merely speculating on a bounce in the sp | burgerbarwomen
20/7/2010 14:49 | I hope so, simon The thing is, we are all focussing on CAH and it's enormous potential value to Cellcast, but as a result we have mostly been ignoring the value in the UK business The big thing that has happened over the last 6 months for the UK business, is that the chances of any negative regulation over the channels has been reduced to almost zero. The result is that is that bigger companies are looking to enter the market. We have already seen this, with Bluebird throwing money at it hand over fist to try and get as many channels as they can in a short space of time. But, as we know, the channel space available is limited and Cellcast are still the main player, with a lot of channels and also, the know-how. The UK results, have imo, been skewed by huge amounts of money they have had to spend on legal fees and political contributions. Of course, that can;t be put into the results, so it makes them look bad. Now, once those costs are taken away, we may suddenly find we are making £1m+ pa, maybe more. There is a very good reason why Bluebird have entered the market and bought up channels from so many competitors - they know there is big money to be had. With all these moves and events, I think that the UK business is now a major take-over candidate. A big US adult firm may look at acquiring the UK assets, which would then leave us with cash and a holding in CAH. Perhaps that would then inspire a reverse take-over, who knows? But it does look good, imo... | the analyst
20/7/2010 14:21 | analyst looks like the MM's agree with your last post. | simonparker5

19/7/2010 20:54 | So thats it, Cravens stopped selling, his holding is down to 3%. I'd chance a guess that most of his stock was sold to a few of us on here and the directors of the company. So lets see how things play out and see who made the right call. Interesting times ahead. | lyonst5
19/7/2010 18:03 | Your arrogance here will cost you money ! Craven has been a forced seller, does it not make you wonder why somebody(s) has been buying massive chunks of his stock in a big hurry, they must know that Cah is doing well. And that post is laughable when you consider the facts about your track record with Cltv and mine ! You were ramping this around 75p and it now 4.5p mid I was ramping this at 3p and it's 4.5p mid and was 7.25p high bid ! So who has made the right call, dont bother to respond as i wont make anymore replies to you but i find it amazing that you are attacking me over my calls here and on other stocks. | watchout2
19/7/2010 17:53 | The fools are the ones that follow you HateTrade - I'm too wise and too shrewd. CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2010 17:52 | And last time it went from a low of 2.5p offer to a high of 7.25p bid ! Dont make a fool of yourself again here CR, just move on, the overhang has been significant and depressed the price for a while, even if Craven wants to sell the remaining amount it wont take long to clear it. Just rememeber the other thread and all of your posts ramping Cltv when it was 75p+, you are in position to attack me on my Cltv trades as they have all made profits in the past. | watchout2
19/7/2010 17:42 | Yeah, I've seen your online limits on RGT lol. I'll pass - like I did last time and saved myself a fortune. CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2010 17:37 | Don't think so: Holding in Company Cellcast plc announces that it has today been notified by Neil Craven that, following a sale of 2,250,000 ordinary shares in the Company, he now has a notifiable interest in 2,713,000 ordinary shares in Cellcast representing approximately 3.57 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. PS I own NSA a from lower than 30p and added today :-) Fortunately I don' hold MUBL like you - who's gonna want to be holding that in a years time as their major contract comes up for renewal? 20p if that ends - good luck :-) CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2010 17:34 | Dont tell me you are going to miss out again Cr :-)) Overhang cleared and nobody knows it, guess another 100% profit is on the cards soon enough. ps..i own Nta from 30.85p, good to see your gang push it for me :-)) | watchout2
19/7/2010 17:25 | Don't keep asking me not to have a pop at the stuff you're pumping and dumping HateTrader if you're gonna keep going around having a pop at me. How many minute are you in this for again? CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2010 16:16 | Online it's 5p full offer for 50k max so no size or discount online. Timed that well then :-)) | watchout2

Jason Following you correspondence with my colleague Nick Athanas, I have today spoken to Neil Craven. Unfortunately he is not an ongoing seller of Cellcast. However, if the situation changes, I will certainly be in touch with you. Kind Regards Graham Bell | kiop
19/7/2010 14:28 | ps..i reckon Craven will be happy to take bid price for the last lot anyway. | watchout2
19/7/2010 14:24 | :-)) Not my intention, in the old days when i used to buy the price would drop right after, i was going to buy on Friday but got sidetracked. | watchout2 |
