07/11/2007 09:53 | No need to pump this share digger. Im confident we will finish blue today. If not, it is only a question of when, not if.... Looks like the MMs are trying to suck in the weak PI's this morning inorder to fill orders IMO. | recto verso
07/11/2007 09:50 | next move down. but against all my instincts, i'm starting to think this will go back higher. i don't whether it's this guy's mates buying or what but to move from just over 3p to over 5p is significant | topgunns
07/11/2007 09:41 | Where have the pumpers gone? | digger27
07/11/2007 08:22 | The tricky bit in valuing the company, imo, is puuting a price on sumo.tv - will they be looking to spin off just the website or both the website and sky channels at the same time. One would guess the later. In that case, how much can the website and the channels, including EPG slots, be valued at? Last year's acquisition of grouper.com by Sony was at $65m and sumo.tv has very similar traffic as grouper had when it was taken over. There are, of course, big differences in geographical reach and presumably the technology involved. If the sumo.tv website is only valued at 25% of grouper, then it will be worth $16m (about £8m). The TV channels also look to be worth quite a bit. Do CLTV actually own these EGP slots, or have a right to use them that can't be revoked by Sky at their discretion? Again, it's difficult to find this out. However, the postion on the EPG looks better than ever now that Channel 4 have bought up the preceeding block and BBC HD is right next to it. channels 144 and 145 are very high up on the list. and potentially worth a couple of million with last months news that Sky are not awarding any new EPG slots. There will be a bidding war for good slots and it appears that CLTV have two really good ones. so, if that sort of £10m figure (£8m for website, £2m for EGP and related business) is realistic (I have no idea whether it would be), then could we see some sort of deal where CLTV spins of that arm, retain perhaps a third of the stake in the division, whilst the newco gets a couple of million funding and CLTV gets a couple of million cash in the deal? A cash injection would be useful to avoid using any more Headstart funding and get the South American division back into profit. | the analyst
07/11/2007 08:07 | Limits: Buy 250k @ 5.2p Sell 150k @ 5.05p No change from last night.. | james t kirk
07/11/2007 07:57 | Well then keep buying until we get to the 8-10p range. It doesn't take a lot of volume to move the share price. Then we'll all be happy (headstart too when they dilute you down on basis of lowest bid price in last three weeks)...lol.. Unless Cellcast makes an announcement soon to update on status I would expect share price to drop again. If a leak has prompted the market's sudden rise then the Company must release an announcement asap. All the activity yesterday strikes me as a bit odd in view of the lack of a second announcement. The announcements about Neil Craven and Sumo's progress are old news. Have we been seeing a pump and dump in progress though? I see that several very similar emails appeared on the interactive investor website two days ago. Why post the same emails on two different bulletin boards unless you are trying to ramp? Like topgun I am continuing to hold for the time being (with a healthy degree of scepticism as to where this latest sudden rise is going). | darcon
06/11/2007 22:29 | Andyhore69 - no trading statement - it was two weeks ago, did you miss it. I sold out late on too, having seen this rise too quickly. I'll probably regret it tomorrow, but it was a high risk investment that I made 30% on in two weeks. Can't grumble. | james t kirk
06/11/2007 21:19 | LOL. Look recto, i have repeatedly said that you are overly bullish. In the meantime, the share price has halved so i've not exactly been wrong. I hope this is the turn but who know. | topgunns
06/11/2007 20:45 | sorry topgun, you are right, i pay no attention whatsoever to your posts. | recto verso
06/11/2007 20:35 | Recto, stop wetting your pants and read my post again. It clearly states that i continue to hold. My previous post states that i bought some more at 3.36. | topgunns
06/11/2007 19:48 | Topgun, sold out as well then lol. Wheres MG ? He must be kicking himself. 5 day rise on the cards IMO. RV | recto verso
06/11/2007 19:23 | Always follow the smart money imo ... and the smart money has been buying heavily today despite smaller pi's jumping. Yes, issues remain, but these are not insurmountable. Once Sumotv is partnered we shall see a significant re-rating imo. Sum of the parts don't currently add up. The analyst, appreciate an updated board/header if time allows. | moneymaker6
06/11/2007 19:13 | Aleman is a smart poster and i agree with some of his sentiment. I don't have much faith in news from management either. But i continue to hold. | topgunns
06/11/2007 18:08 | Aleman has always been negative. Who cares what people say on here, its a chat board. More importantly, the share price is climbing and the company starting to perform with bags of potential for growth. Go suuummmoooooooo ! | recto verso
06/11/2007 17:41 | Didn't see your sell come Aleman...IMO idiot. | chancer6
06/11/2007 15:56 | LOL - I've just sold the rump of mine this afternoon. They were always risky but I don't believe anything this lot say anymore. I hope you have better luck. | aleman
06/11/2007 15:41 | Yes, bit of day-trading going on. I've always found that sort of day trading a bit bizarre for a stock like this, though - such a large spread. I guess it came off for them this time, though. Overall, today has seen a decent rise on high volume which looks promising. Some quite large trades going through and it will be interesting to see what happens over the coming weeks. Nice to see you here aleman. | the analyst
06/11/2007 15:22 | well it does appear a few day traders have appeared whoever bought the 35299 @ 4.2 at 8.00 kept then a whole 2 hours and 40 mins then sold @ 4.875 must be down the pub with his 150 quid now | rizzzla |
