21/8/2008 09:17 | Just to explain the tortuos process of producing accounts for a foreign based company.Accounts are produced for the foreign company, often this is done in a more timely fashion than in the UK.These accounts have to be reviewed by a firm of accountants in the UK.They have more concerns about foreign accounts than Uk accounts,it is the old fashioned blame game. We know that SWC has changed accountants so therefore this review will take longer than usual. The reason that the Directors do not give a date is because they themselves do not know. Also best practice is now that rather than make numerous RNS announcements that companies are encouraged to bunch these together into meaningful statements. If you read the previous RNS it is clear that neither Mr Frost or Mr Zulman are involved in the day to day management of EBL,they have recruited a very experienced Chinese expert to do that for them.Ferrero has been a very successful brand in China, fighting off a classic passing off in the process. | hillyfields
21/8/2008 09:02 | Still no response to requests for info on when the results will be released. Talk about kids in a sweet shop- this board of directors are clearly the ones with their hands in the cookie jar, too busy to deal with the owners of the cookies.... | fludde
13/8/2008 08:25 | My experience of Directors is the larger the company they run, the more out of touch with operations they are. If Zulman and Frost are used to larger operations it does not necessarily bode well that they are now involved in a smaller business that requires more understanding of the hands on process than they are perhaps used to. | fludde
13/8/2008 06:55 | On refloat there was talk of buying a large factory. | william-just

12/8/2008 11:39 | Sadly patience will be required before we see 47 pence again. However the Board and Management are now structured to take the company forward. They would not have been able to recruit a Manager with the level of experience that the new CEO of Essential Box has without there being a sensible game plan. The small number of sellers left over from the original flotation will have worked their way through the system soon and at that stage the shares will start to reflect the ongoing strength of EB. However EB on its own does not justify the efforts of Mr Zulman or Mr Frost they are both used to running much bigger companies,I imagine they expect to be again. | hillyfields

04/8/2008 12:09 | Having sold my holding on the re-listing for tax purposes, I've just bought back double the number for considerably less than I sold them for. Just need them to go back up now!!!! | tiltonboy
04/8/2008 12:07 | Who could blame them? SWC do not respond to investor enquiries, they rarely bother to publish any information. Quite inept management from day 1. | fludde
04/8/2008 12:00 | News 31st March 2005 - before re-admission "CYC is interested in 1,000,000 ordinary shares in Sweet China representing approximately 9.9 per cent. of its issued ordinary share capital." | buddyol2
