11/11/2013 10:14 | Ha ha. If it were that simple even an inbecile could make consistant money in the stockmarket. The share price is up about 70% over the year. The EPS uplift (plus maybe a bit more) was priced in. | sammu
11/11/2013 09:54 | What is it with the share price diving? An increase in 30% EPS surely should reflect an increase of 30% in sp? | sheyac
11/11/2013 08:26 | Not sure it was the best performer as engineering PBT down 11% last year. Also it seems 2014/15 is shaping up to be much stronger for nuclear. Food results should more than compensate as the new mill gets up to speed. Strong start to current year. I expect forecasts to be at least maintained and possible raised. | wjccghcc
11/11/2013 08:15 | Profitability warning for engineering division, the best performer of the last couple of years. Heavy capex and a turn to net debt: will be interesting to see if that pays off. | westcountryboy
11/11/2013 08:04 | Stand out results. But largely expected, so we'll have to see how the price reacts. | broadwood
16/10/2013 22:22 | Excellent. The share just keeps gradually rising. Seems like a very well run company with a bright future. The chart is very strong. | pjhutchy
16/10/2013 15:52 | Held a good part of the rise. Low volumes but then that's normal here. | broadwood
16/10/2013 15:18 | Lovely rise,lovely chart. Mid price around 1710p as I speak. | shauney2

01/10/2013 13:24 | Nearly a three bagger now. Another jump so far today but wide spreads. | broadwood
17/9/2013 16:42 | And with the new plant up and running on schedule we should be able to increase margins nicely | pjhutchy
13/9/2013 13:28 | Watching the Harvest programme on the tele last night, we are still going to have to import a substantial amount of wheat this year. Carr nicely placed for that. | broadwood
12/9/2013 15:16 | Nudging 1500P but still looks reasonably priced with all divisions going well.Would not be surprised to see EPS of 140P for the year ended 31 August. GAN | ganthorpe
10/9/2013 22:09 | Looks like we are moving higher into new territory | pjhutchy

13/8/2013 13:50 | Thx good post | nw99
13/8/2013 11:32 | PE is still only 12. You can argue the more weather dependent feed side should have a low PE (though global weather seems to be getting more erratic which increases demand). However the flour division looks like it's set for a good run after years of attrition in the sector - it is now one of the lowest cost producers. The main reason it's my second largest holding is actually the engineering side which took off in 2012 and is growing at 50-100% due to demand from the energy sector - the main risk here is capacity constraints. | wjccghcc
13/8/2013 11:27 | Share watch tipped it last week more influential | nw99
13/8/2013 11:26 | think it was tipped in shares magazine last week. nice rise regardless. | pyemckay
13/8/2013 11:12 | Does anyone have any idea why this is rocketing up after being fairly steady for a while? Volumes are unusually very high too. | sheyac
13/8/2013 09:27 | I went into Carr's yesterday and, for once, I am pleased not to have been the Harbinger of Doom. Wow is a wonderful understatement indeed. | malcolmsm1th |
