Spread has been a nightmare.
Anyone who managed to buy below 35p may have had a bargain.
When we see spread narrow we'll know we are moving in right direction.

Ever understood balance sheets Graylin ? Caracal's Balance sheet deterioration since last year- £7m deficit incurred in liquid assets. Another £4.7m added to long term loans. $10m plus needed to progress. Equity market cap only £7m. I suggest you 'make this up' in order to come to a non-idiotic conclusion (if you can)

So, we now have DOUBLE the amount of high grade gold over a 6 month period and they have not finished chasing the vein yet! gold is approaching $2,000 and GCAT is raking it in over "AT LEAST" the next 180 days yet idiots are selling, you could not make this up!

Caracal Gold PLC, the expanding East African gold producer with over 1,300,000oz of JORC compliant gold resources, is pleased to confirm ongoing delivery of high-grade ore from the high-grade zone in the Kilimapesa Hill deposit to the Milling plant.

Highlights

-- Ongoing 360tpd of high-grade material with average grades from 3.39g/t to 4.92g/t being processed,

-- The initial mining plan has been extended to over 180 days of delivery of high-grade material to the milling plant ,

-- Exploration to define the full potential of the high-grade zone in ongoing.

Hourly belt cuts are taken on the mill feed conveyor and the daily summary sampling sheets for samples are attached. These samples are assayed in the Kilimapesa laboratory. Sampling and analytical procedures are subject to a comprehensive quality assurance and quality control program. The QAQC program involves insertion of duplicate samples, blanks and certified reference materials in the sample stream. Gold analyses are performed by standard fire assaying protocols using a 50-gram charge with atomic absorption (AAS) finish and a gravimetric finish performed for assays greater than 10 grams per tonne.

Tonnages mined improved to over 400tpd from the high-grade zone, recoveries remained in line at 75%, the plant availability was affected by power outages after pole on the main feed line to plant collapsed during a heavy rainstorm - plant availability for the period was 75%.

Robbie McCrae, CEO of Caracal commented:

"It has been 20 days since we started mining and processing ore from the Kilimapesa Hill high-grade zone and the team are pleased with the results across the board from the exploration to the mining and to the processing. The mining team have worked hard to complete the access roads and strip waste and now are focussed on increasing the tonnage mined and delivered to the Milling plant. At the Milling plant the focus Is to increase the tonnage from 360tpd to 500tpd over the next few weeks. We are looking forward to updating the market on the results from the exploration work on the high-grade zone in the near future".

Kilimapesa was always supposed to be GCAT’s flagship & now proving to be the case.
Chances now are the company rerates to where it was before some in the market were wrong-footed by the waiting game, now finally over.

High Grade Zone on Kilimapesa Hill

Caracal Gold PLC, the expanding East African gold producer with over 1,300,000oz of JORC compliant gold resources, is pleased to announce the discovery of a new high-grade zone above the current underground workings and above the areas drilled as part of the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) on the Kilimapesa Hill deposit.

Highlights

-- 360tpd of high-grade material with average grades from 3.31g/t to 4.74g/t being processed,
-- A mining plan confirming 90 days of high-grade material has been prepared and is being actioned,

-- Exploration to define the full potential of the high-grade zone underway.
The area is being accessed from the current open pit, and with exploration drilling on hold at present, a decision was made to bulk sample the area and process the material through the milling plant.

Mining commenced on the zone on the 9(th) March 2023 and 360tpd is being processed through the milling plant. Current recoveries are 75% and plant availability over 85%.

At present 6 zones have been mapped, sampled and a bulk samples processed - these zones are numbered 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B and 3A, 3B. Each of these areas has then intensively sampled and the resulting information put into a mining plan which supports throughput of high-grade ore through the milling plant for the rest of March and for the 2(nd) quarter of 2023 (April, May and June).

The exploration team is now extending the work on the high-grade zone to define the full extent of the strike, this will be followed by trenching and sampling and ultimately drilling with the goal of defining high grade ore for long-term processing through the milling plant and to include the ounces into the Kilimapesa Hill MRE.

A map of the Kilimapesa Hill high-grade zone is attached at the end of the RNS.

The average grades for the period from 9(th) March to 18(th) March 2023 are detailed below:

financing seems to be progressing well, this extra high-grade ore will cut costs substantially, and they could push it up to 500 TPD at the mill, funny old game investing in gold miners, you're not out till the fat lady sings and she ain't singing yet!!

Wasn't EUA like that albeit in colder climate? That still made lots of money for the people that got in at sub 1p. Even though it crashed back then that is still well above the price of a few years ago.
