27/11/2013 15:18 | Surely, people wouldn't just pile in at 08:00 just because a sister company had been tipped?? They are separate entities! Must have been a tip for CLA too. | callumross
27/11/2013 14:53 | many thanks | horndean eagle
27/11/2013 14:40 | AVAP the sister co. was tipped in Momentum Investor | davebowler
27/11/2013 08:31 | Obviously been tipped somewhere this morning. Be grateful if someone could post where later on in the day once subscribers have had a chance to act. | horndean eagle
11/11/2013 22:52 | Only AVAP stooges need apply. | russman
11/11/2013 16:31 | I am sure he was supposed to be a big hitter. I would have thought it makes the buyout of the minorities by AVAP more likely?? | harrogate
11/11/2013 16:16 | Yes, noticed that Dave. Always makes you a bit nervous when you see an MD resigning without adequate explanation. Hence I sold a few of my holding. | callumross

01/11/2013 11:26 | Have bought these for my Eezymunny portfolio. Thoughts here... | eezymunny
10/9/2013 19:37 | I am not really sure? I suspect that they would like to do something since I think it is a complication that doesn't help the valuation. I guess it depends on the minority would take to be bought out | harrogate
10/9/2013 19:17 | I wonder what AVAP will do with CLA in the long term, Harrogate. What is the point in keeping them separate? | callumross
10/9/2013 18:03 | I keep looking at CLA and on value terms it looks cheaper than AVAP but I can't help thinking that any growth it has will be down to AVAP who own the majority and could decide to put all the new business through AVAP and none through CLA where they only get 60%( or whatever) of the benefit. That I think holds them back | harrogate
10/9/2013 12:10 | Well, I bought 20k at 18p this morning. Seems too cheap. Am also an AVAP holder. Just tuck it away for year or two. | callumross
09/9/2013 22:53 | CLA sings AVAP's tune. | russman
09/9/2013 18:19 | No posts since June...despite announcement of results today. WHI note, Capital Lease Aviation PLC (CLA) - BUY Market Cap: £16.6m ; Current Price: 17 p; Target Price: 33 p 2013FY results highlight valuation anomaly This morning Capital Lease Aviation (CLA), a quoted subsidiary of Avation plc (AVAP), reported its full year results to end June 2013. The results reflect the stability in the aircraft portfolio over the period but we highlight that the recently acquired Airbus A321 will make a very material impact to 2014FY forecasts. We are increasing our 2014FY EPS forecast by 38% to 6.3 cents to account for this. We also highlight that the shares are trading at a 43% discount to 2013 historical book value, which we believe is anomalous. We are reiterating our Buy rating and increasing our price target to 33p, in line with our 2014FY NBV estimate. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull

28/6/2012 19:53 | Hi DD Are you still watching CLA - I'm not sure if this signals CLA becoming active again. I do hope so! Best GG | gosgos
27/2/2012 19:02 | Gosgos, are you still around, still invested here? Wondered if you were considering following Oceanwood's lead and swapping to AVAP? | davydoo
09/11/2011 10:34 | very interesting to see Oceanwood go above 10% which they announced on Monday | davydoo
13/10/2011 10:34 | Great news Gosgos. Patience rewarded. Particularly against the carange elsewhere on markets. I sold all mine for about the same I paid, had too many better prospects which luckily worked out well for me. I'm back in AVAP though so this will boost their figures too | davydoo
13/10/2011 08:39 | Steady progress in net assets ;-) | gosgos
24/3/2011 11:35 | ok very interesting finally - you're not going to buy 8% without a belief in the upside | gosgos |
