01/2/2018 09:11 | I've doubled up here on the drop this morning. f | fillipe
01/2/2018 08:45 | I was caught out a bit by the odd time of the RNS - 7.30? Disappointing that the Tanzania position can't be quantified after 7 months and remains a drag on utilisation. A shame really as otherwise the update was pretty good with CAPD demonstrating the strength of its business model that is currently operating in a healthy market, albeit not without its geopolitical risks which one would hope are fully built into the share price As you mention shaunstar, great cash generation - up $4.3m in the year after a $2.85m investment and $2m in divis. | gleach23
01/2/2018 08:38 | I think CAPD are doing what they did previously and thats obscuring strong cash flow that would otherwise make the company look cheap. I look forward to results so work out exact cash flow in the period. | shaunstar
01/2/2018 08:03 | In line for 2017 but expected 2018 revenue reduced with the Tanzania issue still having an impact. | valhamos
26/1/2018 16:27 | Chunky buy yesterday set things up nicely for today. Year end Trading Update very soon, possibly as early as next week - I imagine some are buying ahead of that, particularly in light of the Tanzania contract extension of last month which may have eased fears. | gleach23
26/1/2018 15:13 | Nice move today, and new recent highs too. Can't see any specific news, so I assume this is simply a long-deserved re-rating on the back of the strength in the CAPD's sector. | rivaldo
15/1/2018 15:41 | Yep - up almost 10% today. Hopefully back to 60p now for starters. | rivaldo
15/1/2018 09:05 | Today, more signs of life. In fact looking quite well chirpy and healthy. f | fillipe

11/1/2018 11:19 | Best ask now 44p... 25k shrs at that, but spread over 3 mm's. gl, f | fillipe
11/1/2018 11:04 | I think so! Could be quite a sharp move up with any luck. | gleach23
11/1/2018 10:57 | Good to see a sharp move up this morning. CAPD's been left behind a bit given the rising tide of prices and activity in the resource sector - time to catch up? | rivaldo
05/1/2018 16:01 | Nice 35k buy @ 39.7p means full 40p Offer price quoted for £100 worth of shares now. Poised? | gleach23
02/1/2018 15:58 | Good to see some blue here today on the back of some modest buying, some of it mine as I bought back some of what I had sold. Potential for positive newsflow in the next 10 weeks or so with a full year TU due by early Feb followed by Finals around mid-Mar. Let's hope 2018 sees CAPD regain lost ground and more... | gleach23
20/12/2017 10:48 | Nice announcement of a contract extension this morning to ease fears of any near term pulling of the plug in Tanzania - | gleach23
19/12/2017 12:37 | Sounds positive: Capital Drilling Limited ("Capital Drilling", the "Group" or the "Company") Successful $12m Debt Refinancing and Appointment of Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") Debt Refinancing Capital Drilling Limited (CAPD:LN), the Africa focused drilling company, today announces that it has successfully refinanced its senior bank facilities for a further three years. 08/12/2017 14:32 | So I'm guessing Q4 results will be around Jan 18th? And if they're good we should take off... now do I trade these till the New Year... decisions, decisions! | runthejoules
08/12/2017 13:24 | No Dean, I can sell on HL for 37.15p (up 1.32% today according to them. I bought due to Tanzania troubles but the rigs still being functional. No movement for months though, and I reckon I can find something that'll get me more than 30% takeover premium rather than waiting round eating opportunity cost, even if I have to take an 11% loss. Of course, it'd sell the day after I did... | runthejoules
24/11/2017 16:11 | Ive just seen that, looks like a suspended company | deanowls
24/11/2017 10:43 | I've never seen a line as flat as that. Is everyone here just hanging in for a t/o, or awaiting any other news? | runthejoules
19/10/2017 16:41 | Good to get some sort of deal done in Tanzania for the miners then so that work can progress. | bmw30csl
19/10/2017 13:57 | Little known fact. Fumbuka Ng'wanakilala is Kiswahili for John Redwood. | kinbasket
19/10/2017 12:45 | i like this one but obviously needs some resolution in Tanzania but for now to keep getting debt down is key. | bmw30csl |
