06/3/2023 08:45 | Geodrill Numbers: hxxps://www.geodrill Outlook ● Demand for drilling services has continued to increase this year and the Company expects a robust mining and exploration cycle will continue into 2023; ● Gold price continues to provide a strong tailwind for exploration drilling; and ● Expanding geographical reach and commodity diversification. | kaizenkid
06/3/2023 08:19 | Based on the October-22 TS, they have the rest of March for the Timmins commisioning. | shanklin
06/3/2023 08:18 | Yup, that's me :-) | johnrxx99
06/3/2023 08:12 | Hi RivaldoThe explanation about that conference makes complete sense and would explain why to put this out and why there also aren't any numbers in thereCheersAdam | adamb1978
06/3/2023 07:49 | :o)) Talk about glass half-empty..... | rivaldo
06/3/2023 07:47 | I hope it isn't a prelude to difficult news. | johnrxx99
06/3/2023 07:45 | It's good news, so I'm glad to see CAPD being proactive. It's been suggested elsewhere by ds2 that with PDAC currently ongoing, MSALabs news flow may have been disseminated at the convention and therefore CAPD got ahead of the curve through today's RNS instead of allowing such info into the marketplace via gossip/hearsay. This makes eminent sense to me. | rivaldo
06/3/2023 07:38 | A REACH news item highlighting the convention I would understand. Instead we get an RNS, highlighting a commisioning rate which would mean far more than 21 units by 2025. Who knows why they released it given they then recommit to the 21 by 2025. | shanklin
06/3/2023 07:18 | Obviously a positive RNS but a bit unusual considering the lack of numbers and results in a couple weeksWhy not wait til then? It's as if they want to get the share price up quicker...or perhaps just highlight MSLabs more?Odd, even if positive! | adamb1978
06/3/2023 07:16 | Looks like Chrysos' growth continues to boom. The worldwide aspect is particularly pleasing, with expansion to Kazakhstan and Canada. The current PDAC convention should also keep interest bubbling: "The first few months of 2023 have seen MSALABS maintain its significant growth momentum from 2022, with the delivery of a strong operational performance from existing contracts, as well as the successful commissioning of a number of new laboratories" | rivaldo
06/3/2023 07:11 | "We look forward to many strong years ahead of us as we further grow and develop our global footprint, including the deployment of 21 Chrysos PhotonAssay(TM) units by 2025." Perhaps the above target will be increasing. If not, then why the RNS? | shanklin
03/3/2023 23:01 | Gold futures curve is normal Producers can lock in decent prices especially 6 months out and at year end where there is reasonable volume. Of course they look forward with optimism. | hpcg
03/3/2023 13:45 | Cheers kaizenkid. There are some nice quotes applicable to CAPD: "improved pricing environment" "most of our senior gold customers have committed to elevated exploration efforts in calendar 2023" “As new mineral deposits will be increasingly located in areas more challenging to access or requiring complex drilling solutions, our strategy to remain the leader in specialized drilling has been key to providing top-quality service to our valued customers through safe and productive drill programs, as evidenced by our industry-recognized hole completion rates,” concluded Mr. Larocque" | rivaldo

01/3/2023 13:00 | From the Chrysos 2022 report, August: Under its Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) business model, Chrysos’ revenue is generated largely from operating lease agreements with its clients, including three of the world’s four largest laboratories – Intertek, SGS and ALS – whose own customers include some of the world’s largest miners such as Barrick Gold and Agnico Eagle. It doesn't list client (their actual customers) concentration as a risk. Their 2022 highlights: FOUR PHOTONASSAY UNITS DEPLOYED DURING THE YEAR AND A FIFTH UNIT SUCCESSFULLY DEPLOYED IN JULY 2022 BRINGING THE GROUP’S DEPLOYED UNIT BASE TO 11. 38 DEPLOYED OR CONTRACTUALLY-COMMIT OR CONTRACTUALLY-COMMIT SUCCESSFUL EXPANSION INTO NORTH AMERICA AND AFRICA. Also within: MATTERS SUBSEQUENT TO THE END OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR During July Chrysos deployed its 11th PhotonAssayTM unit, this specific unit is being operated by MSALABS in Mali. The Group also signed an additional 10 units with existing customer Britannia Mining Solutions. These 10 new PhotonAssay leases signal a significant expansion of the existing relationship between Chrysos and Britannia Mining Solutions MSALABS is the most significant partner, almost 50% based on: MSALABS, a global provider of geochemical laboratory services for the exploration and mining sectors and a majority-owned subsidiary of Capital Ltd (LON:CAPD), has announced that it has expanded its global partnership with Chrysos Corporation. The partnership will see MSALABS, deploy 21 Chrysos PhotonAssay™ units across the globe by 2025. | hpcg
28/2/2023 16:14 | Thank you rivaldo | shanklin
28/2/2023 15:19 | Hi Shanklin. I'm no expert, but it seems to me that MSALabs are one of the more important of a very few customers that Chrysos has. Especially given the substantial expansion of the partnership last July - which I note is "global": | rivaldo
28/2/2023 11:47 | Hi rivaldo Thank you for the Chrysos link. Is it your understanding that MSALabs is just one customer amongst many to Chrysos, or is this managed on a territory basis... ...or something else? It would be nice if MSALabs was a preferred customer but perhaps that's a bit hopeful. Thank you, Martin | shanklin
28/2/2023 11:19 | Chrysos announced their H1'23 results last week. They read rather well. Good to see the Morila unit being redeployed quickly and a mention for MSA Labs: Extracts: • For MSALABS we are currently installing units in both East and West Canada • Chrysos is also working with MSALABS to redeploy the Morila facility unit to a new location within Mali "Outlook Demand for Chrysos’ PhotonAssayTM technology remains robust and its sales pipeline continues to grow. The Group’s deployment schedule extends into 2025 and is underpinned by annuity-style revenue from contracts with strategic customers across key global mining regions. Leveraging operations teams across Africa, Australia and North America, Chrysos is on track for 21 deployed units by the end of FY23. As the business continues to execute its unit clustering strategy, it expects unit costs for co-located deployments to decrease. Chrysos remains on track to deliver on its Prospectus forecasts for FY23: • Total Revenue of $26.6m • Pro forma EBITDA of $3.2m • Expansion of the deployed unit base to 21 units The business is well-positioned for sustained growth through FY23 and beyond, with a strong cash balance and increased debt available." | rivaldo
27/2/2023 08:13 | Good news for CAPD as Golden Rim announce a "significant" drilling programme at Kada: "Golden Rim commences 3,500m Diamond Drilling program at Kada Oxide Gold Project West African gold explorer Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR; Golden Rim or Company) is pleased to announce it has commenced a 3,500m diamond drilling (DD) program at its flagship Kada Gold Project (Kada) in Guinea. Highlights • Extensive diamond drill program to investigate the structural controls and confirm mineralisation widths of Kada’s Massan and Bereko prospects. • Diamond drilling program is anticipated to take approx. two months with first results expected early April 2023. • Further results from the current 10,000m reverse circulation (RC) drilling program are expected early March 2023" | rivaldo
24/2/2023 07:11 | CAPD are the drilling contractors at Cora's Sanankoro mine - Cora have now raised almost $20m to commence development of the mine: | rivaldo
23/2/2023 09:45 | Lots more drilling planned at Shanta's West Kenya project where CAPD are contracted, with a big increase in resources: "· Further work being planned including expansion drilling across the 4 high priority targets in Ramula Region, metallurgical testing, scoping study, and infill drilling for conversion to mineable resources; · 2023-24 planned drilling on the targets adjacent to Ramula aims to deliver substantial resource additions and new discoveries." | rivaldo |
