Looks to be in line for 26.5p eps this year. Nice dividend yield of 5.4%

V small profit when I include the chunky divi I have banked but sentiment is just so poor in the sector.

Hi Grahamite - you seem familiar somehow?! ;) Hope you are well.

My short reasoning is only for the fact that it has held up whilst other service companies have collapsed.

The UK market is slow, and their other markets (far east/Aus) are seemingly going down the swanny. You can only imagine how margins are being squeezed on their customers and I can imagine those cost cutting measures being forced on CIU.

Good company, difficult part of the cycle! I know many employees who work for them.

It's odd the company website does not show dividend history and its financial calendar doesn't show anything about dividends. Generally it looks quite an attractive stock but you have to wonder about little things like that.

IC Online today
Energy and oil supply services specialist Cape has performed creditably despite the weak oil price environment.
It's interim results showed revenue growth of 13.2pc with adjusted profits up 5pc to £21.1m,with the Middle East and North Africa region proving to be the stand out.
Order intake rose by 26pc to £399m and the order book was £800m at the year end
up from £746m at the turn of the year.

Having sold at 241 I bought back in at 215 this morning as I was surprised that the market did not react to what I thought was a very strong update.
The fact that they have increased the order book over the last 6 months is very impressive given the industries they are exposed to.

Glad I took my exit, really getting caned now.
Divi is over 6% and looks like it is pretty well covered so I can only assume that it will find support at some point in the not too distant future.
Having said that I have lost a degree of trust in the management after what seemed like an about face with the most recent trading update.
They are undoubtedly in a very difficult industry but have been blabbing on over the last few years about how they have repositioned their business towards safer maintenance work so I guess we will see what the next update looks like.
If it is sound then I may consider re-entering but am much more suspicious of their management now.

Hmm,
I am once again back at b/e and do not intend to hold through another cycle back below 200p.
I was genuinely surprised how negative the most recent update was considering how close it was to the rather more upbeat recent finals.
