City rumour from a source in the city who is usually reliable for me. Possible offer for 100% of the companies share capital. This may explain the buying earlier - if so, an RNS may be imminant IMHO. DYOR No advice intended - but I feel this i going to move sharply one way or the other in the next 3 hours.

This will tank after the AGM. This is my experience. Most stock prices are just manipulated.

Don't some of you guys actually RESEARCH stock rather than obsess over charts? I wonder if Cape Diamonds is a victim of one of those elaborate email scams? Anybody else offer a PLAUSIBLE explanation why a bust company has all of a sudden become worth 10 million quid? I'm not being antagonistic or argumentative here, just fishing for a reason.

Based on March data, polished diamond prices are no longer in a free fall, according to the IDEX Online Global Diamond Price Index. After peaking last summer, polished diamond prices declined sharply beginning in October 2008, a trend that continued through January. However, while diamond prices softened during the last week of March – a temporary anomaly, in our opinion – they have stabilized from prior months' weakness.
