07/9/2006 07:28 | Last nights statement re share price was excellent. The market cap has halved since floatation for no apparent reason - no reason why it can't double from here very quickly. | decoy
06/9/2006 08:12 | delighted i bought in to this sack of cack | robertfuge
02/9/2006 15:34 | I am not surprised to see this nose-dive since it is hard to get an idea of value.... when are interim results due? although they have a 75% stake in a property that has generated diamonds, is this still the case? What was production for example in 2005? ta in advance | jezboy1
19/7/2006 20:52 | but a bit better by the end of the day. imho that's still a big mkt cap until they've proven themselves/convinced the mkt. | rambutan2
19/7/2006 09:47 | Rambutan2, Another 3% drop so far today, and the market cap now = £47 million. | andy
18/7/2006 23:22 | rambutan2, Thanks for the heads up, but only just read your post, so have missed the FT article. | andy
17/7/2006 15:57 | hi andy, i noted that there's a supplement in today's ft on the african diamond industry, on the back page of which is a feature on cape. | rambutan2
13/7/2006 18:38 | libertineian, It's called a chart! And I agree, it's like looking down the north face of the Eigar! I guess the descent will finish soon, as now less than £47 million market cap, so it must find a level soon I would think. Does anyone know if Bankside are still involved? | andy
13/7/2006 18:05 | wow, wot a graph !! | libertineian

10/7/2006 10:09 | Any news would be good for the share price as the lack of it has been deafening. Still no website??. | milner2
10/7/2006 10:08 | vermillon1966, How do you know that please? | andy
10/7/2006 09:00 | Board meeting today - let's hope they at the very least do something to stop the slide in the sp | vermilion1966
30/6/2006 10:48 | Wassaper, Very interesting article, thanks for posting. This isn't the first time I have seen an IPO which has been FOLLOWED by the publication of the prospectus!, and I fully concur with the Minesite article that this is the wrong way to do things. I also agree that the prospectus should first be published, then a meeting with at least one director, before a buying decision can be properly made. The discrepancies over the options, and the £600,000 'fee' raise some eyebrows IMO! Having said that, they do start to look cheap at the current price, but the Baret Comunications link looks a bit murky, so I am going to hold off any buy for now because of that. | andy
30/6/2006 10:20 | Hmm, think I might wait until it hits 50p rather than 150p after reading this. Not too encouraging ... A Merry Chase Around The Prospectus Of Cape Diamonds So Cape Diamonds listed on AIM at the end of May , having raised around £13 million at £2.50, and by the end of last week the shares were down to 167p after falling a further 12.1 per cent. That makes a total fall of 33 per cent and some might say that it is roughly in line with some of its peers since the major correction in metal prices and mining shares started in the middle of last month. Minesite ran an article about the company a fortnight after it listed, but had had no chance to meet any of the directors as their presence in London did not seem coincide with the publication of the prospectus according to Bankside, the PR advisers. This seems to happen quite frequently on AIM nowadays. More here ..... | wassapper
22/6/2006 16:27 | Andy - I am/was ... who knows sice the Simi incident. Drop me the mail, and mybe I can tell you a thing or two! | wassapper
22/6/2006 00:11 | We all want an edge in today's Market. You can find that with these guys.... At NO cost to you there's and advantage right there! US MARKETS ONLY!! | kmiller64
21/6/2006 23:31 | Wassaper, IMO a good lineup, Great Panther and Avocet looked good. Yes I did complete the form, thus qualifying for free food and champers at all the forthcoming events, unlike those that didn't! Only kidding! Are you a member of AMA? If so, I will drop you an email. | andy
21/6/2006 20:34 | Andy - how was Minesite? Hope you completed your feedback form? If not I will be asking you! Any CDE news? | wassapper
21/6/2006 20:17 | wassaper, Aye! | andy
21/6/2006 19:28 | Making headway. Another 10p down then maybe buy some/ | wassapper
19/6/2006 16:36 | Andy i am in Cornwall 2morrow so cannot make it. CLIO - nabbed a few on Friday. I guess holders are shellshocked. Small bites for me at present. It is a very long term hold so it will never be big for me (until nearer the end). I am liking EGU; BRR and BTC as well. These will be bargains only if this market settles! BTW - it is the 28th Ian !!! | wassapper
19/6/2006 15:55 | Wassaper, See you tomorrow? I agree, if CAPE hit 150p, they would look undervalued, and that would be a decent entry point I think. The market cap is below £60 million now. | andy
19/6/2006 15:39 | good. CLIO looks pretty interesting too! | ianwc |
