It would be great if Samsung were to say they are replacing lithium batteries with supercapacitors..28077;

Yes the word is spreading that Murata/CPX has the answer to the sizzling phone problem. As power usage in phones increases the stress on lithium batteries can only get worse. Something must be done.

Samsung Note 7 woes an example of the problems that can arise when power depends on a chemical reaction. Not so for capacitors.

Tia1617. Not at all. It depends on how much power you need. Not all applications are as frugal.

So if the technology exists to incorporate a tiny battery into a credit card that will last for 3 years, who needs a super capacitor?...

Have Capex been beavering away creating the Betamax of the disposable power source??...in other words, is there really a market for these products?

Would be great to think that this was CPX but I don't think we would still be in the 5p range if it were true...

Everything else is a blood bath for me today with the exception of the one share I sold out - Petra Diamonds. I bought in at 115 and it's now sailing up to 150.

Wine / Gin, whatever is in the cupboard - writing off today!

as in CPX has plenty of cash, so no need for crippling placings (like Tern)?
