Nothing unexpected from my perspective. Ludicrous that this is currently valued as near as dammed around cash in hand...and ignores everything the board thinks is realistically realisable in the not too distant future (not small change)...
I still see this as potentially multi bagging from these low values but the illiquidity and the hint of potential delisting may be enough to scare even the most adventurous investors away....Hey Ho.

Vast RNS today

"“Despite taking longer than anticipated, I am very pleased to announce that after many years of hard work and discussion with the Zimbabwean Government the matter regarding the release of the Historic Parcel has now been amicably settled in a manner supported by an Order of the High Court of Zimbabwe. This demonstrates the Zimbabwe Government’s and in particular His Excellency President Cmd. E D Mnangagwa’s commitment to resolving legacy issues related to investment in Zimbabwe in a transparent and legal manner for the mutual benefit of investors and the Country and we now look forward to the releasing of the Historic Parcel to the Company.”

Sounds positive for Zimbabwe stocks

Firstly this is a quiet stock, there's virtually no investors left in this game and not many that are will play little CMB. After the boss I'm the second biggest shareholder now.

"clarity" he's been making things clear for a while, realise NAV and then I assume do a big return of cash. In the long run 1p maybe more, hopefully in the short term on the next disposal 0.5p will be coming our way.

Obviously any material developments with Payserve would be massive, that was making millions 3-4 years ago and if that could return out of the blue but atm it does not look likely.

Mental PREM is going nuts again up and up and up while this again is being shunned on continual good news.

We need some clarity - dave

Is he selling some / all of the company if / when bids come in ?. Or is he just leave a status quo in the hope that the government changes ?. The markets and investors would take a deeper look, IMHO

Tbh I do not want you to get back in tomboyb because you'll only sell out again for a small profit.

We need investors not traders in this one

I took the afternoon off David, just pointless watching this all day in and out.

So you are telling me that news was not good enough to get one person to buy in except me and you.

I still think he dropped another clanger issuing the news at 16.28pm

Had these results been 7am they would have been read by thousands of investors and surely a few would have took the plunge on those numbers

Finals are in June next year -

This company has a habit of staying quiet -

From an investor perspective , management needs to change. All wood here -

Perhaps. Any agreement would catapult the share price upwards with the free float at a mere 30% I suspect a good buy at these levels.

Significant Shareholders
Substantial Shareholdings Number of Shares % of Issued Capital
Ventures Africa Limited* 377,000,000 69.2%
Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Ltd 20,207,559 3.7%
Luna Nominees Ltd 15,533,020 2.9%

Its actually tighter at a free float of 25% or around 130million shares. Biggest factor is the CEO's comments of getting cmb back up where it belongs. Let's see what that brings.

Hi David, you say it so much better than I. :-)

Hi tomboys, cmb is a wee Jem imho, great management who are here to build something rather than just bleed the company with high wages / raise new money and rinse and repeat. The usual Aim mentality !. It's been a huge letdown since Mugabe lost control and the crocodile 'took' power. For me Africa is the future growth area and a lot of the 'hot money' that has been flooding into the American markets, these past ten years, will now be looking for a new home !. Let's hope Zimbabwe can sort it's currency and make a pitch for foreign investors.

Your posts have brought us some interest today tomboys :-).
