I've been in this share for five or six years now since I saw a buy recommendation in Techinvest. In that time it has lost over 90% of its value (I can remember when it was nearly 50p per share). My exposure to it has been small so I held on. For the first time I am seriously considering topping-up and averaging down. Continued improving newsflow can only start to move the share price ahead for a revaluation soon. It appears to be sticking a bit like ULT where continuing positive newsflow, including large NHS interest, over a period of time has failed to be recognised by the market. Cancellation of official listing should be a large saving but may lose instittional investors. I presume it will be an AIM listing instead. Good luck all patient investors.

Also interesting is that an investor called Elias has recently bought a shedload. I'm with you O1. Fortunately I am 'big' in oil, just as well as I've been waiting some years now since Techinvest first tipped CLC.

Announcing senior board changes, poor results, a fall in turnover, far fewer license agreements than expected, poor stirling denominated revenue and a weak dollar exchange constituent and above that then the over thrown of the CEO ...

Management have really screwed this company up big time.

_______________

On-line dealing :

You can buy upto 25,000 on line... BUT you can ONLY SELL 2,500

Talk about the MM's screwing the investor ?

YOU CAN BUY BUT YOU CAN'T SELL !!

Gives the catagoric impression that the MM's want to off load their CLC stock.

Sod that !

I beg to differ from my friend Orange 1 but this is not about customers, bids, live installations, orders or any such thing, it's about cash (and the same goes for any other company). It's got to start generating cash to cover its overheads, stay in business, make a profit one day and pay us a divi. It only survives because it went to investors last year and raised fresh 'working capital' (that's actually revenue to cover overheads in the real world) at 40p/share and unless it starts paying its own way soon from sales it is going to find it hard to keep going back and re-filling the coffers. I don't know what they told the institutions at the last placing, but I bet they won't believe it next time. I fear we're drinking in the Last Chance Saloon.

I'm afraid that I am also with you guys!! I am only a "CLC smarter investor" as I am also in TIG and NSB.

If only I could get a hit rate of 7 or 8 out of 10!! Nonetheless I have hopes of this coming good eventually, after all I believe Techinvest are also still with us .

O1,

"the CLC smarter investor"? That could be a contradiction in terms! Any road up, smart or not, I suspect it's just you'n'me.

Interesting post. The only thing worrying me is that it singularly fails to mention my No.1 key investment criteria. £!

With the CLC full year results due to be announced in the near future, the CLC smarter investor will want to be equipped beforehand with all necessary facts and figures so as to be in a position to make those necessary informed split second decisions in the minutes after the results are announced.

So here to help us all are a few of the relevant facts and figures:

The great white hope of CLC is CV4.
In August 2003 a date firmly imprinted on Ian's mind, the date of the most recent fundraising, CLC had 7 CV4 customers (6 live, 1 signed) and 15 open orders.

In November 2003, they had 8 CV4 customers and 16 open bids.

In March 2004, they had 10 CV4 customers (7 live, 3 installing).

By June 2004, the figure had risen to 13.

By September 2004, it had risen again to 15 (8 live: 7 US, 1 UK - these were the 6 live identified in 8/03 plus the new orders identified in 9/03 and 11/03 which had since gone live) with 7 orders (6 US, 1 Aus) (already announced in 2/04, 6/04 and 8/04). The figure for open bids had risen to 21.

So how many are now live, how many new orders have been received and how many open bids are there? How far above respectively 8, 7 and 21 have we gone? These are the key questions to get answers to as your finger hovers over the buy (or sell) button. Exciting or what?
