03/6/2009 13:32 | Any more info you can tell me from your conversation with the Ceo then ? | 8trade
03/6/2009 12:05 | No it will take a good few years with this one considering the encomoic climate, but I believe that it will creep up and time goes by. I spoke with Steve yesterday and I am more than happy to hold. | carwhite
03/6/2009 11:12 | Patience that's all, have learned recently that you will make good money if you adopt that simple procedure. I can see Cagney is a quiet stock, lets see where it is in a few months but you are right the company seems to be on the mend but the price does not reflect it as of yet. | 8trade
03/6/2009 10:58 | Yep still lots to do but its survived the worse. Read back my posts I saud uner Steve this will move on to much better things. Just look at the solid client base. | carwhite
02/6/2009 22:45 | Stocked is pretty bombed out at 0.45p bid, new management seem to be turning things around gradually, priced still for failure, positive AGM report today so could be a turnaround play although still lots to do. | 8trade
02/6/2009 14:51 | lolololol you can smell the stench of sour grapes from here lolololololoololol | carwhite
02/6/2009 14:44 | 8ball - MMs won't give too much of a sh1t about this share on a day to day basis as there is not enough liquidity to make any money out of it. Hence the wide spread. | johnswan193
02/6/2009 14:40 | What else is it then John ? Wins are predominantly a bidding market maker ! If they sit on the offer it's rare and most certainly means they have a sell order, apart from that they nearly always sit and push stocks on the bid when buys come through. Maybe time to move on, looks like new management are slowly turning things around, the bad past maybe behind them now. | 8trade
02/6/2009 14:30 | Guess your not talking to your friend anymore then john! | granny7
02/6/2009 14:09 | john...strange investing here just to help out a friend!...did the friend work for Cagney? | granny7
02/6/2009 14:05 | Best price now is 150k online at 0.68p. I agree the spread is not great at 0.49-0.68p and there's some stale mm's who need waking up at 0.75p offer (3 of them), Wins as normal doing the bidding and the only mm moving, once the surplus stock dries up then it might get more exciting. | 8trade
02/6/2009 13:54 | John. The price is saying failure, the company is on the up but slowly so that means the price has got a lot of upside. I'm really pleased i got that cheap stock now, looks a nice recovery play in the making, i bought TSW when it was bombed out and nobody liked it at 12p, it's now 37p bid ! | 8trade
02/6/2009 13:27 | Oh yeah, I can see big dividends from here. Remember, this is a share for penny traders. Hence 8ball telling us how he topped up his 100k holding, with another 50k purchased out of trading profits. 50k = £250. Says it all..... If this thing was any good it would attract decent investors with quality history of investing. I only bought in here to help out a friend, and got out when I could. | johnswan193
02/6/2009 13:15 | but Mrs swan those infop rmed ones here already knew that...YOUR DOOM AND GLOOM DOESNY WORK HERE NOW AS ITS ALL ON AND UP.- LOLOLOLOLOLO | carwhite
02/6/2009 12:48 | "We are anticipating that our solid start will enable us to report an improved operating performance for the full year." | granny7
02/6/2009 12:45 | Oh dear..... At the interim stage last year we reported an operating profit of £234,000 on gross profit of £4.4m, but noted that this result had been boosted by some significant one-off revenues. Accordingly, we are expecting operating profit for the first half of 2009 to be lower than the corresponding figure for 2008. | johnswan193

02/6/2009 11:50 | FULLY AGREE! Thet will all be trying to jumpon the band wagon when she starts going | carwhite
02/6/2009 11:33 | Another 50k for me with trading profits elsewhere, they offer 0.55p when it's small amounts like 50k, 0.65p for bigger, must be a lot of burnt fingers here and a bad reputation to overcome but i liked this paragraph from final results. "In the first quarter of 2009 Cagney is trading profitably, and we continue to feel cautiously optimistic about new business prospects. We have a healthy pipeline and our bank is supportive of this management team's progress and vision for the future" | 8trade
29/5/2009 18:58 | I topped up today at o.55 what a bargain | carwhite
29/5/2009 11:19 | Is that trade a sign then John :-)) | 8trade
28/5/2009 15:49 | Mrs swan bought at 5p lololololol then sold at 1p and thinks thats a good deal. titter titter titter. | carwhite |
