06/2/2002 13:02 | I'm still in, and hope that double figures will come. June 1st or thereabouts could be a crunch point one way or another - the final results for the year ending Jan 31st will be published. | holdcroft
06/2/2002 10:00 | Mike I am not willing to discuss anything with children! jim that is I am still in cab and still in profit and will not sell this share until it is at double figures Which it will be med term | graceyfields
06/2/2002 09:53 | Am I the only one left in CABs on this board? Gracey even you have gone quiet - was it you bailing out yesterday in 100k chunks? Here's hoping that thay have now bottomed..... | nav_mike
06/2/2002 00:28 | Chaps, I'm afraid I'm out again! Apologies, but I sense a slight slide and in any event need the funds to aquire additional THE stock. Good luck the rest of you, hope the share sorts itself out soon. Regards. MB | majorbill
05/2/2002 23:54 | Thanks NAV, Really appreciate it. I'm in tommorow anyway, Will put it into my boring bottom draw. The profit I make?? will allow me to have real, real, fun on day/short trades, Night, Night, From a Gambler PS be gentle with our Gracey | justjim37
05/2/2002 22:26 | Jim, today Im sitting here with a sodding cold and CABs down again - believe you me the temptation to trade short term is growing. Thing is my accountancy practice takes most of my daytime and I use the profits from that to fund share dealing which I look upon as my pension. I'd love to be in and out of stocks quickly but in my heart of hearts I know I aint got the time to monitor things that often...... Anyway, onto SRF..... Interesting stock, not one I'd buy because of the large goodwill element on the balance sheet, but very impressed that they broke even at operating level and generated positive cashflow. Thing is they then proceeded to write off 17m goodwill below the line which to me suggests they know the remaining goodwill is worth sod all. I would not dissuade you on this Jim as I feel we may be different types of investor - my viewpoint means I will probably miss out on some the real high fliers when (if) the next tech rally comes around again. SRF looks a lot more healthy than RDN any road :-) I REALLY dont like all that stock - after all its failure to shift the damn stuff that has caused their problems in the first place. I stumbled across CEL today - passed my initial tests and has secured major contact wins. Would like to se it drop a little first but may get in soon. As a five minute trader (hehe) let me know what u think. All the best - but please lay off taunting us tormented CAB holders! Mike PS The BLZ market cap discount to cash is also getting rather silly IMHO but they are well out of favour. | nav_mike
05/2/2002 18:43 | NAV, Around 90% of my portfolio I hold short term (That's where the fun is) The remainder I hold long term which to me is 6 to 12 months. I'm very tempted to buy Surf control (SRF) for the long term based on their stonking results today. As a long termer I would welcome your views, a response before 8.00am tomorrow would be appreciated. Jim PS Don't let gracey know we had this conversation...shhhh Wish her goodnight from me and give her a cuddle, she needs one. LOL | justjim37
05/2/2002 14:04 | This is becoming a hard share to intepret (apart from the sodding drops that is!) with just about every trade of significance being reported late. From what I can see there has been reasonable sized profit taking early Morning Monday and Tuesday which has knocked the stuffing out of the shares both days. During the course of each day there has been some reasonable buying interspersed with small lot selling. Still holding as Im in long term - still a bit painful though - so Jim ssshhhhh! please :-) | nav_mike

03/2/2002 18:12 | Energis is likely to fall further as there was a sell recommendation made at the week-end. The recommendation was a clear signal to all holders to get out of this one as quickly as possible. Therefore wait for a price below 10 pence. This company is odds on favourite for bancruptcy. | johndee
