All the speculation and variations on what the news may or may not be is doing my head in. No one on this or any BB really knows what to expect so may I suggest that we just sit tight and wait until the official release. Lets hope it's good news.

The whole scenario is typical for smallcaps, with management/majority shareholder buyouts in plan. The potential offeror is deliberately moderating or supressing buying interest by issuing statements re. sharp rises (as in CHA's case).

I really hope this goes your way, but would not be surprised should
it open sharply lower on MM markdown.

Sorry fellow holders, but i think its not good news or bad news....i believe the price has risen too far.. on speculation and they are stopping it before it gets mad. Simple as that.. The problem for us holders is to decide on either holding, or to bail out quick (if we can get a good price that is). If the news if what i suspect (as above) the price will drop heavy as the majority will sell whatever, this is why they have suspended for a full day, to try and prevent any panic selling. Longer term it may still be taken over, but i feel it will be at a much lower price than we all expected. This seems to have all worked in Gyllenhammer's favour...who knows it may all of been part of the plan.
Dont build your hopes up everone, and good luck whatever.

I'm really not getting at you or anybody else, I am just a little surprised that you (or anybody for that matter) can get through to Carbo board members so easily, I thought they would all be tied up in meetings etc. and have no time for us shareholders. I have to say I have never tried, maybe I should!

Spoke to Richard Smith of Andersons earlier was told the same, it will be another early start tomorrow but worth it I think.

News is out tomorrow just spoke to mr sanderson he said the document is on the screen first thing tomorrow!

Interestingly he said there were so other many parties involved that the wording had to be correct etc etc. To me this is not a baby statement by any nature. This is something Huge!!!

I said well I and many other friends who are shareholders are worried and I personally have not slept. He said well you will see the news tomorrow and sleep well!

He seemed positive to me but I am always an optomist

I mentioned is it anything to do with gylenhammer he neither admitted or denied it just said Mr gillenhammer is one of our biggest shareholders!

I have his mobile number here if anyone wants to try him for more info

Doubt it - more likely tomorrow morning. Going home time now and IMHO would expect concurrent announcements of major issues to staff and Stock Exchange.
