Very nice rise this week so far! Still cheap as chips but no doubt we'll have a period of consolidation soon before we press on further north

Indeed... cost reviews on going across the business as they develop their processing model utilising the new IT roll out Looking like the business is positioning themselves to come out leaner through 2021 Their wholesale channels through Bib and MC need some recovery though... that was a massive revenue hit as COVID impact.. it is going to take time

I also like the fact there are very few retail investors in this stock, just look how quiet this board is. Funds will provide the buying power here - the hedge fund report from earlier in the summer is spot on regarding the upside potential here. No doubt they and others are buying more

I bought a few more tranches yesterday after my initial (shortly after the vaccine). Now the largest position I hold. We're still at rock bottom levels here. I think we should be in for a nice ride over the coming months. I'll add some more on any further weakness.

Bought a lot more here today on the back of the vaccine news. CCR will be a major beneficiary of this news.

Company taking the opportunity to use the furlough extension to close parts of the business down again. Significant opportunities for lower price shares

Yep... company is cutting their cloth.. consultation process kicked off as they look to trim ... certainly their Christmas revenues screwed... It’s a long burn but if we think the co will survive without too much of a change to capital structure and their liquidity doesn’t cost them a fortune the inevitable increase in demand will see improvement.... Time will tell

Business kicked of redundancy process... I agree great long term prospects and now I have a good amount bought... shame the average is 1.86.. still need to ride out and how many of their customers survive

unfortunately we're at the mercy of wider macro movements at the moment. C&C Group represents deep long term value here. Anyone buying here and holding long term should do very well. This is a well run company, highly cash generative in the good times with plenty of headroom to see through this crisis.

Recent (circa £63k) purchase by directors Clerkin, Gilliland, McMahon suggest a level of forward looking confidence in the strategy and future prospects of the company... now at the bottom of my expected share price range... Bit concerned that the 7m euro liquidity boost to Admiral was expected to be sufficient going forward... perhaps needs a rethink given recent restrictions??? Time will tell

Looks like the statement in the recent release “.. we have begun to take action to permanently right size our fixed cost base” is clear indication that the company is keen to make use of the tech build to reduce staff costs Interested to see the extent the feel they need to reduce( if in fact this is the case!)

Impressive progress on tech and e commerce for the business.... couple this with reduced revenues, implementation of a new telephony system... the companies expensive call centre / costs have to be reviewed.

Seeing the furlough scheme all the way through to end Oct... I believe orders inevitably low given current restrictions... only questions now are “what is the cash burn” “what level of staff required to service market” “how has the P&L been impacted” “Does the current MCap reflect actual position - any other unknowns” “valuation of pub chain/are they providing value or drag” Happy holding... prepared for volatility, option to average down if needed...

Look at where people are sourcing their alcohol CCR are not supplying supermarkets.. it is the hospitality trade that retails their product in the main New products to access outside trade terms help, the HOTBO scheme in Aug was a great filip. But recent changes will have a massive impact. Add to this not all line are available as Covid impacted brewery’s ability to produce Certainly not back to to full output yet, evidenced by staff still on furlough Long way to go through winter and see further dips and maintaining range of 1.70 a 2.20

The price is quite odd. C&C's balance sheet is strong and they have enough cash run way for years. People don't suddenly stop drinking when a crisis strikes, if anything, they drink more! Sure, the majority of C&C's business is to trade which is suffering a lot at the moment however they are already pivoting to more direct to customer channels. There's an enormous amount of value to be had at this price.
