Getting close to half year results time.....

Only part of lockdown period covered... will be interesting how expectations are set on revenues....
Staff still furloughed, producers not yet up to speed, restrictions on number of people in pubs/ restaurants.... plenty of stats confirm supermarket drinks up... but pubs and bars down 50% through ld.

Hope the company reset expectations... the share price is 40% off pre Covid figures... surely all is priced in?

Thoughts turning to the impact of the imports and Brexit.

The company has total reliance on wines and spirits to service the UK hospitality trade..

Thinking aloud, but very interesting to hear any thoughts on how different trade versions could impact CCR and other drinks wholesalers

A game... I divested half at 2.38 only to trade elsewhere... looking at a reentry point....

Cash burn not insignificant though, and staff still furloughed ( even if on a part time basis)

Liquidity is excellent, but the hold on the current divi for the foreseeable is a concern

Will be interesting to see how their Birmingham hub does in next few weeks and also I believe the jitters here is simply due to the worry that it could be schools over pubs... if that doesn’t materialise then would expect a good rebound

been adding more here around 210 late last week. This has to be one of the best risk/reward beaten up plays around. Balance sheet very strong, relative cash burn is minimal and these guys are a cash cow in good times.

A total no-brainer for me to buy here and hold for long term

I understand volume picking up in Bristol and furloughed staff returning...

Interesting times ahead... hopefully no recurrence of a spike in the UK and hospitality can continue to build up to some normality

Yes, a strong CEO - market liking it. Still can't believe we're down at these levels! Though I'm very much liking the gradual rise back rather than a spikey one with traders.

David Capital Partners likes the CCR prospects !

"Another recent addition is C&C Group PLC (LSE: CCR), a company the Partnership successfully owned once before in 2011-2012. C&C Group is a manufacturer and distributor of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the UK and Ireland. As roughly 75% of the company’s business is to the “on-trade” (restaurants and bars), C&C Group has recently suffered a steep decline in its results. That said, C&C Group has an extraordinarily strong balance sheet – at its current rate of cash burn, the company would not run out of money until 2027 – and we are confident the UK Government will support its iconic pubs and the British people will continue to drink a good pint or three as those pubs re-open in coming weeks. We see +100% upside to the shares from today’s price just above 200p."

Artemis taking advantage of the current weakness to continue to build their stake, now over 13%.

Taken a few more around 210

yep, not long now before pubs back open. Business openings are ahead of us in Ireland. Added a few more today around 220, highest I've paid so far but happy to add here as still substantially undervalued imo.

Only reason we're still at these levels is thanks to large II sellers

Certainly will electrick. A lot of catalysts to drive it north. Get those pubs back open!

I think the market is also asleep with the AB deal announced a couple of months ago at the height of the panic. That distribution deal is significant

Solid update this morning. Strong YoY growth for FY results (pre-covid). Whilst we've got hit hard with 80% of rev coming from hospitality, costs are under control and there's a massive liquidity buffer there to weather this.

With hospitality coming back online slowly very shortly, I can see CCR rising nicely once our institutional sellers are done

is this company solvent
given their debt and the realisable value of assets they could be in trouble
a writedown by the auditors will hurt covenants
