Just ran a quick search, there's a total of 31 products available both online and offline containing Byotrol.

These maybe new as not seen before.

Question is, how does that relate in terms of sales especially given Pets at Home expansion plans?

Re sales: Looks like a continuous drip od 100K lots at abouy 3.125p and MM's selling on at 3.5p. Margin far too wide but interesting that there seems to be a buyer prepared to take all stock avilable at 3.5p

Hummmmmm:- If an institution why not do a direct deal - that is if it is another instituion dribbling out.

Morning all,

Could be a nice read-across for Byotrol. Pets at home results H1 (excerpt).

H1 FY15 financial summary

· Like-for-like sales growth of 4.2% both in the Q2 and H1 FY15, driven by strength in Advanced Nutrition, Health & Hygiene, VIP Club momentum, and continued growth in fee income from our veterinary practices and Groom Rooms

· Total revenue growth of 10.2% to £381.5m

o Merchandise revenues up 8.9% to £348.3m, driven by new store openings and continued strength in Food, as well as Accessories;

o Services revenues up 27.0% to £33.2m, reflecting both new openings and the growing revenue streams from our maturing vet practices and Groom Rooms

· Strong revenue growth of 28.0%, and like-for-like revenue growth of 15.5%, within the underlying Joint Venture veterinary practices

· Gross margin improvements in line with our expectations to deliver full year Services gross margin expansion, and a modest Merchandise gross margin benefit

· VIP Club reached 2.6m members, up from 2.0m at the end of the FY14

· The Group continues to trade in line with our expectations for the full financial year

---------------------

We continue to expect to deliver gross openings of at least 25 new stores, 60 new veterinary practices and 50 new Groom Room salons in the FY15

It's not proven to work against ebola, BQE on the other hand has a decontamination machine being used to treat patients.

I do agree it's quiet on other fronts though, looks like more PI's throwing in the towel.

BQE had another good day, perhaps a little bit of sector interest. Will Synergy's recent buyout also help Byotrol in the US market too?

No idea, but maybe a consideration.

Christopher Menon, who penned the Everyinvestor article which mentioned Byotrol, has previously written other bullish pieces specifically on BYOT.
The value of his holding in the company must be diminished, as are ours.

seeking alpha has an 'ebola index' comprising all the companies they think could benefit from the scare. Informal, and currently US stocks only, but certainly no sign of byot. Why aren't they using the zero cost social media to push their head above the parapet?

Been waiting for a deal with Medecins sans frontieres....

They are probably small sales from private investors worried about lack of news.

Unfortunately in this market mms don't want any stock at all so mark down accordingly.

My hope is that Nicholas isn't throwing good money after bad, other than that we have no idea what's going on.

Yours faithfully,

Sadly this terrible virus may increase public awareness of hygiene related issues.

The NHS discussion are due to culminate this month, I wonder if Byotrol has managed to secure a partner?

Old news but maybe still of interest to holders.
ARS/Swash to Represent Byotrol® Sanitizing Agents SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., July 31, 2014: The ARS/SWASH Sanitizing Equipment division of ARS ENTERPRISES, Inc. has been named exclusive distributor of Byotrol chemical sanitizers to wineries, breweries and distilleries throughout North America. “We are thrilled at this opportunity to add an exciting new tool to our array of solutions for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities in these industries,” said Glenn Caster, president, CEO of ARS. ARS has been a leader in developing products and techniques for improving cleaning and sanitization of bottling lines, tanks, barrels, and facility surfaces for the last twenty years. This new line extends the company’s franchise to include personnel protection and facility protection against growth of mold, mildew, fungus and algae. The chemistry inherent in the Byotrol® products prevent microbes from attaching to surfaces at a microscopic level. A micro-polymer displaces the biofilm that allows microbes to attach to surfaces. "It creates a 'bed of nails' that effectively prevents microbes from sticking to the surface," said Caster. There are also low doses of disinfectant that are held active on the micro-polymer chain that aid in sanitization. There are four basic products that make up the line. The first is a hand sanitizer for personnel protection. Both the winery staff and the public who visit wineries can benefit from this unique formulation. It is a non-alcohol based compound that kills 99+% of all microbes, and unlike alcohol based hand sanitizers that dry out the skin, the Byotrol® Hand Sanitizer actually moisturizes the skin. Second in the line is an EPA approved disinfectant/sanitizer product, Byotrol Polysphere. Available as a pre-moistened wipe, or as a concentrate for foaming or spraying, it is applied to surfaces to kill microbes. Sorting tables, food preparation areas or sanitization of an enclosed room would be likely applications of this product. Third is Byotrol Microcleanse Plus. This is a detergent based product that includes the Byotrol® chemistry to protect surfaces for an extended period of time. It is brushed on or applied with a pressure washer to clean areas in which mold, mildew, fungus and algae have developed with the added benefit of helping to prevent re-growth in the areas cleaned. Finally, the Byotrol® Buildings and Grounds product is a protectant solution using the Byotrol® chemistry to maintain cleaned surfaces from re-growth of mold, mildew, fungus and algae. Concrete, tiled or wooden areas outside the winery, brewery or distillery where these organisms form and grow can be kept clean for up to six months after application of the product. ARS/SWASH is launching a campaign called “Creating a Culture of Clean.” It is crucial in processing to keep the facility and equipment sanitized, including the personnel who handle the products. "We have to be diligent in guiding the processes and not allowing contaminants to get in the way,” said Caster. “This starts with the personal hygiene of the staff who handle the production equipment and the product ingredients, and extends to the cleanliness and sanitization of the facility itself, and the production equipment used to produce and package the products.” ARS/SWASH, an operating division of ARS ENTERPRISES, is the leading provider of sanitization and sterilization equipment for the wine, craft brewery, and craft distiller industries. Product lines include SWASH and Electro-Steam steam generators, SWASH pressure washers, ClearWater Tech ozone generators, SWASH, CMA and Miele glassware/dish washers, Moog high pressure barrel washing appliances, Bitard low pressure barrel rinsers, Biomist spray alcohol sanitizers, Byotrol hand sanitizers and facility protectants, and Fogmaster foggers/sprayers for application of chemicals and for barrel room humidification.

From memory they were after EPA approval?, looks like they have it now.

"The Byotrol product range is very broad and offers a solution to most hygiene problems for surfaces, buildings and personnel. Polysphere is an EPA registered disinfectant, sanitizer, virucide, and mildewstat, which makes it a key component in the Byotrol product offerings."
