05/10/2007 12:38 | What's the problem with this company?? reading the web site I would say this product should be in high demand, looks very cheap now to me, but what do I know | 5dally
05/10/2007 12:17 | Jonaston, for clarity, RHPS had previously advised buying them. Hence those that bought on the advise are also likely to sell. | badday
05/10/2007 10:46 | thanks mate | jonaston

05/10/2007 09:47 | Sell advice from RHPS. I wonder if this company is going to the wall. | topdoc
24/9/2007 02:42 | I think they've been very unhappy with the old advisor on the last 2 fund raising rounds (last one being the final straw) - takes time to get in a new one. | funkyceo
10/9/2007 09:07 | Anyone with thoughts on the change of advisor? Often happens before a fund raising or corporate action, although BDG should not need funds at the moment. Dibbs | dibbs
04/9/2007 21:26 | I've picked up a few also. These have the prospects of being a good recovery play if they can show improved figures going forwards. Good to see the directors having backed the company in the past fundraising. It would be nice if the new directors came to the market for a few shares, especially at these levels. BDG is technically oversold with the recent fall to 3p ish having occured with only a few small sells on poor market days. Probably a few bored RHPS readers getting out of what has thus far been a bad preformer for them. Does anyone know if BDG are also traded on Plus? I wonder wether BDG should possibly try to big up the green benefits of ParcelXchange. Reduced emissions and congestion are pretty popular these days. Granney7, I reckon that a three bagger is certainly not out of the question by any means. A market cap of £18 million ish is possible if the company is performing better. These could pretty easily move up to around 6p I would have thought in the shorter term, unless of course they issue bad news of some sort! Dibbs | dibbs
04/9/2007 20:44 | BDG has attacted a new management with good cv's that you would assume would only want to be linked to sucess. Going on the market capital at float then this outfit could go to 9p with some good trading figues? Triple bagger maybe? | granny7
04/9/2007 18:03 | My trade is number 5. Its showing as a sell, but it was a buy | jonaston
04/9/2007 15:57 | All buys today and a tick up! Can this really be BDG! Dibbs | dibbs
30/8/2007 12:18 | Looking at their last results I think that the debt repayment to RBS has been exended to 2011. The company look like they are moving forward quite well and have three directors with alot of shares plus Paul Carvell has options on 8,666,666 more shares on 30th Sept 07 with more linked into profit related targets. | granny7
29/8/2007 07:00 | The company launched on AIM in September 2004 at 52p per share, which valued it at £15m. They now have a market cap of £6m and a shareprice circa 3p, not good whichever way you look at it. It does though have a new management team which were able to secure debt finance from RBS, rather than one of the sharks that the smaller companies sometimes use. HOwever that debt neeeds paying back this year, and issueing more shares looks out of the question? Given that they are now also franchising the parcelExchange concept on a global basis (i believe TNT were involved) I wouldn't be surprised to see this bought out within the next 18months, once the fattening up process has been completed. | badday
28/8/2007 23:07 | Thanks for that Dibbs....Looking at Badday's post they are making an effort and will be interesting to see how the new service pans out. Presumably they will have enough funds from the last placng to see them through the forseeable future and maybe into profit? | granny7
28/8/2007 22:56 | Granny7, Problem is that since the 40p days the number of shares in issue has risen dramatically. Market Cap of the company now at 40p would be pretty meaty compared to a couple of years ago. The only interest in this has been from RHPS in recent times. A couple of resulting spikes and a subsequent pull backs. BDG will possibly be a good recovery play longterm if they do not have to raise more funds. In a weak market as we have at the moment loss making companies with debt are not really finding it easy to make share price progress. With the last fundraising at 3p it is not such a great surprise to see the price back to that sort of level. I suspect that there is a overhang here that needs to clear before this moves up. 28/8/2007 20:54 | DATE: 23 August 07 Business Direct Group plc. has set up a subsidiary company in Germany in advance of the launch of a dedicated inbound European 'high speed' through the night logistics service into the UK. Business Direct GmbH has already opened an office at the local airport Niederrhein Weeze on the Dutch-German border for the 5 times a week nightly air bridge service into Coventry airport in the UK. Negotiations are at an advanced stage for a dedicated charter aircraft ready for the launch of the new service that cannot be achieved using scheduled services. The new 'high speed' through the night service offers, computer, electronics and materials handling manufacturers with European-based distribution centres very late cut off times of 8pm for pick up and delivery into the UK before 8am the next morning. Niederrhein has been chosen as the European hub of this new through the night service as its location is near several hundred major distribution centres in Holland and North Western Germany and provides a straightforward collection opportunity. Business Direct's inbound European air service provides a completely seamless service linking directly in to its national network of over 300 Parcel Exchange facilities throughout the UK, in-boot service and next day technical courier services or direct into the manufacturer's parts dealerships. The other major advantage of this through the night service is that it will enable major suppliers of spare parts into the UK from central stocks in Europe to eliminate the need to hold stocks in the UK and therefore significantly reduce inventory, warehousing and distribution costs. "The unique benefit of this new European through the night service, is that we can tailor make it to meet the exact needs of each customer and add significant value to their UK operation." commented Paul Carvell Chief Executive of Business Direct. "With a high quality infrastructure and reputation for service excellence in the UK this is a major development of our business targeted at those companies who have large scale service engineer and parts delivery requirements in the UK." | badday
