Good to see China prices rising even tho got someway to go, considering very recently China import prices were around $30 per kg. ... also remembering of course there's also just over 13% import duty to take into account.

Totally agree. Those who can properly debate and advance the bear case in a mature adult way by using and demonstrating their own in depth research, knowledge, experience and intelligence .... help give a balanced and knowledgeable view of both sides of any investment story. There are some great bear debaters around ... the best of them put their money where their mouths are and prove it. In the investment world ... always be aware - The darkest hour can be the hour AFTER dawn ... and the light at the end of the tunnel can always be a train coming towards you!Beats all the rampers and the de- rampers all hands down.

Never very happy has been filtered for a long while, zwift is the illegitimate offspring of nvh. This is humour by the way as I expect the bears wont spot it and will claim faux offence. I took it as positive when more than one bear showed up and low and behold up goes the price. #standard

Quite happy to read a well-constructed bear case for any investment. But it really sounds like Fortune shagged nvhltd's and Zwift's mum/wife/partner.

This is looking very good. Can sell large amounts ABOVE mid price. Tick up coming soon! Expecting a spectacular break out similar to another holding of mine EQT once through 15p. It's been held in a tight range for so long, that the move should be very strong once it's broken out if it.

Did you manage to read NVHs insightful post yesterday? It ties in with your post.
That “the yanks are coming”

It basically says that the Eskom BESS tenders will be open to USA companies, “give it a read”
I know that It will probably mean Lithium and little competition for BMN, but don’t worry, we all know lithium batteries are dangerous and will never take off.

Also BMN will have an Electrolyte Plant Up and running soon, so it will be able to fend of the competition

That not a very nice thing to say, I live in the North,
fortunately I have a cunning plan.

When I left the military I retained my NBC kit and my S6 respirator, so IF it does go bang, I think I will Be OK, not sure about the wife and kids though.

I quite like my newly found optimism and positivity towards our company and future prospects. I can’t believe 4 years have rolled by so quickly. I must admit I was slightly sceptical about Fortune delivering the 1,000MWh of VRFB installations by the end of 2020, an electrolyte plant by 2019, 5,000mtv by 2020 and winning all the ESKOM BESS with what is the best technology that will create thousands of jobs next year.

Well done Fortune and Mikhail. I had my doubts about those 2 guys, but I have to admit they are super strategists and entrepreneurs. What a Christmas present they are about to deliver. Anyone that doubts these two are going to deliver should sell up and chase rainbows elsewhere.

Zwift: I know concerning information and bad news is all around us, but you must try and keep the faith and stay positive. Fortune has everything in hand. He has pulled many levers and shared the stage with the President of South Africa. Do you think the IDC would partner with us if they didn’t think we could deliver. Remember the IDC is a government organisation. The tenders are merely shamS to fool the World Bank and others that the process is fair and open.

Keep your chin up. Two weeks to go. Nothing can stop us.

The world bank will have significant influence on the final decision so there is little risk of corruption. The world bank have also conveyed their frustration on the progress to date, so it's unlikely Eskom will delay further and risk losing free investment.

Wow a lithium Giga factory. That’s like having a nuclear bomb making factory next door. You would have thought the authorities should have taken onboard all the fires this year before committing to that. Why didn’t they consult with some LTH’s of BMN or listen to the Jeremy Vine show? Still at least it’s up north if it goes bang.

Eskom

Eskom had 2 days of Stage 2 power load-shedding over the weekend.
This directly affected BMN operations

We think BMN has tendered for the BESS with Eskom

On the outcome of the recent Eskom/ABB Corruption court case,in Johannesburg.
Eskom CEO Andre DeRuyter said, Eskom had parted ways with 30 senior executives and 100s of employees,
Eskom will now re establish a culture of accountability and review all contractors and contracts,
These statements confirm to me, that the tender results are going to be delayed and any contracts certainly won’t be issued on December 30th as previously thought

December 12, 2020Amazon is planning to generate its own electricity to run through the grid of South Africa's struggling state-owned power utility Eskom. The US tech giant wants to power its new data centers including the 'region' data center one for storage and processing opened in Cape Town by its cloud computing subsidiary, Amazon Web Services in Cape Town. Data centers are heavy energy users with banks of computing power running round-the-clock and often requiring cooling equipment to avoid overheating. It's estimated data centers currently use up to 1% of the world's electricity.Reports suggest the power Amazon intends to generate in South Africa will come from a solar project in the Northern Cape, due to start construction in 2021 and Eskom's grid will transmit it to its final destination.Amazon estimates 28 gigawatts of solar energy, enough to supply more than 3,000 middle-class households with electricity, will be transmitted from the project through the grid. This will be shift for Eskom which typically generates the majority of its power from coal, but has been making moves toward renewable energy. The project has become the first to be approved by South Africa's energy regulator a as part of efforts to improve power generation in the country. The move to add 26 utility-scale wind and solar energy projects including its first ever in South Africa is part of Amazon's wider ambition to convert most of its business to renewable energy around the world. "With a total of 127 solar and wind projects, Amazon is now the biggest corporate buyer of renewable energy ever," says Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in a statement. "We are on a path to running 100% of our business on renewable energy by 2025, five years ahead of our original target of 2030."South Africans have been experiencing power cuts, or "load shedding" as it is known locally, for the past few months. Eskom has been generally struggling to maintain its grid for a few years now. On Friday (Dec. 11) it announced it will implement a two-day load shedding from 6 am to 11 pm "as the system is severely constrained."Https://qz.com/africa/1945385/amazon-to-generate-renewable-energy-in-south-africa-on-eskom-grid/

Zwift: The electrolyte plant must be almost finished. We were told by a well respected LTH this time last year that satellite photos confirmed that construction had started. It’s only a steel fabricated building so at worst would take a couple of months to throw up. The plant can churn out 200MWh of electrolyte per annum. This is normally produced on a single day shift at the start of the year and then the plant is switched off until the following year. All is good. Keep the faith. Be positive. All is about to be revealed.

Good news story for Britain post Brexit

Britishvolt Selects North East Site To Build Britain's First Lithium Battery Gigafactory
- Britishvolt has selected Blyth, Northumberland as the site of its first battery Gigafactory

- £2.6bn total investment, one of the UK's largest ever industrial investments and the largest in the North East of England since the 1980's

- Gigafactory will provide 3000 highly skilled jobs and up to 5000 more in the wider supply chain

- Britishvolt's gigafactory is strategically important to the UK automotive industry and a key component in the drive to the UK achieving Net Zero by 2050

- Blyth site chosen by Britishvolt for excellent transport links and access to clean,
What if Fortune had, had the foresight to build VRFBs In the UK, we could have been churning out the batteries now, but instead we are still waiting for the electrolyte site to be started.

What if Fortune had, had the foresight to build VRFBs in the UK, we could have been churning out the batteries now, but instead we are still waiting for the electrolyte site to be started in East London

Eventually when the site is finished and up and running, what will be the % structure Of all the parties ?
This is my main worry and again BMN has failed to be open and honest, This is what leads to speculation and in my opinion one of many factors, affecting the share price. If BMN employed a decent PR company, It could be so different. I get the impression that Fortune wants to keep the share price low, for some reason.
Look what happed with LGO recently

Could anyone fill in the % blanks

Great news from IES and Bushveld. We’ll now be able to divert some of our existing production from one customer to another. It will then be processed by a third party and turned in to electrolyte as we unfortunately do not have an plant to do this. Or do we. Spy satellite photos suggests the grass was cut this time last year at East London and a portaloo installed.

You wouldn’t do that if building work wasn’t ongoing. It could be underground of course. We’ve got to be positive and trust Fortune to deliver. There’s still a couple of weeks to go of 2020 and then all of those juicy ESKOM contracts.

Come on boys let’s think positively. If nothing else positivity will drive the share price News can drop any day now. It wasn’t perfectly clear we would be announced as the first tender winner on December 31st. It could be earlier.

Fortune has played a blinder keeping us under the radar and I can’t think of an occasion where he has let us down.

In Fortune we trust!!!!
