Best not waste any time or effort engaging with types like wolf. He/she has one simple agenda on here as far as I can tell, so let him/her expose themselves for what they are. Not many people will be fooled by them. Most people will do their own research and also read what others have posted...and then decide what to believe and discount anything that looks dubious. Anyone who stoops to the conversational levels shown above by wolf is not someone I would pay any attention to.

There is a new 3.4MW solar power-plant currently being built at Arandis (in the Erongo region, about 175km from Uis). This is due to be operational ~June 2017. So clearly regional conditions/considerations are very suitable for this kind of power...

This site (below) gives some account of mines and renewable energy. Obviously, any remote mine that depends on diesel generators, is a prime candidate (assuming local conditions are suitable for renewables). In the Uis case, there is also a potential, additional on-site customer in Tawana Resources. Not a priority, but in the event that there was still surplus energy, no doubt the nearby Uis township could benefit. Since BMN are entering into the world of VRFBs (via BE), Uis might be an ideal opportunity to make use of (and showcase) a solar+VRFB mine installation...

Since the Uis mine and township have existed for quite some time, it is possible they are already on some part of a national grid. However maybe not, it is a remote location and the nearest substation might require very long transmission lines. Also, since Namibia has to import power from South Africa, having more localized solutions could well be beneficial (reducing overall load) for all concerned...

4747 - First up, BB posts don't have 'tone' (unless they are loaded with emoticons). 'Tone' is inferred by the subjectivity of the reader and someone who is looking for a fight, can always find one. Secondly, I couldn't give a monkey's for your, or anyone else's approval. I cannot stress that strongly enough. There are always 'negatives' as well as 'positives'. It is only a matter of time before I comment again on some BMN 'negative'. If you don't like it, use the filter...

I have to say of late your tone and communicative language has improved three fold. I have always held the view that you are astute and knowledgeable but failed miserably to provide a balanced view. However I am encouraged by this new demeanour still occasionally dipping your toe in the negative camp but nothing like you were well done and keep it up. I look forward to your next post

Kind Regards Kev

Namibia: Eskom Signs Electricity Sales Agreement With Nampower

I would imagine that a desert mine-site like Uis would be
a no-brainer for a solar-powered VRFB installation and
a potential showcase for other similar mines...

Basically these so called 'shorters' (few in number) try to provoke and get attention from an apparently large number of insecure longs. If you have done your research, have the courage of your convictions and don't engage. Otherwise the bickering becomes an indicator of weak sentiment. Excessive ramping and bickering (aka the LSE BB) are always detrimental to investor sentiment. Potential new investors see it and first impressions are 'pump & dump', 'boiler room' etc. A grown-up quiet BB is a happy BB...

Loglorry I come at this from a completely level perspective. Nick and many others are providing incredibly detailed analysis and research to prove why BMN has great potential this year. In contrast there are shorter posting negative comments on this board that have little or no basis. Every issue they (including you) have raised has been answered comprehensively. I can obviously choose to go long or short on this share, anyone can. But when there is so much information being offered by the bulls and so little by the bears, its obvious which way most new comers are going to go. Together with that the latest analyst gives this a target of 11.8p. What's not to like about that?!

Bookworm is right. You lot just ramping as usual. Numbers in lat RNS were weak but the rampers just ramp away regardless. Time will tell so just relax.
