its abut time the directors bought into this or gave cash bac to shareholders, one month on and still 11p.. with a 9 mill cash balance and no debt. its a disgrace.

Yeh, presumably tipped somewhere.

No idea what their target is, but co buy backs may have restricted shares available and might get more rise on small buying.

Who knows?

Yep, bought originally at 8p, sold some at 14p, I think, still hold the remainder.

If they hadn't bought shares and invested in tangable assets they would be showing profit.

I like this company, but it seems they will need a large contract to announce before we get any lift off.

In my view they should show evens at full year, and subject to buy backs, could be close to capitalised at cash value.

However, aim is aim and I wouldn't expect too much excitement. I prefer interest to be quiet and, should we get director buys, a steady rise without traders.

My target would be 13-14p by June07 BWDIK

No Accountant, but I recon it's their last chance to buy back before interims, although not sure if normal rules apply on buy backs which have approval.

Recon the two 500k were probably buys.

We'll know soon enough.

I still hold a small amount of these. I sold most after the results which I thought disappointing.
If BSG interests you then take a look at SKC where net cash also covers about 90% of the market cap. Difference is SKC's profits are now growing strongly. They recently announced their interim results. Operating profit quadrupled to 0.2M for the 6 month period. Outlook is for continued growth. Remarkably the company is only valued at 0.5M! (stripping out the cash)

"languishing at the tip price?". This is the tip I copied down (no date, unfortunately):

"I find it difficult to believe that the great depths of experience and contact will not allow that contracted income to grow, nor that 30 million pounds of annual turnover is not worth much more than the 5 million pounds at which the company is valued - net of the cash. And that 5 million pounds would take five years to be generated at last year's pace. But these arguments are academic. What is more practical is the fact that if forward way is being achieved - and I think that it is - the City will eventually wake up to that fact and pay proper attention. (I also like the fact that if there is much downward potential, it is hard to discern). After all, risk is the name of the game.

But there are no forecasts, so perhaps this conjecture is wide of the mark. But how much would it cost to buy the business? That's conjecture too, but here's my estimate - 25p, and all points north from that. liarspoker - looking at this company for the first time (I noticed the discrepancy between cash (£9m) and mkt cap (£8.7m).

It wil be loss making (marginally) at the half year , but it will likey break even (at least) year end, so it must be worth SOMETHING.

Say 5p plus the 10p cash?
