25/4/2024 14:28 | What are the chances this gets taken over? All luxury brand cos are down. | hunter154
19/4/2024 16:45 | This time last year this was trading at 2600p! It has rarely traded below 2000p in the past decade. Luxury stocks struggling but the brand power and history remains. | justiceforthemany
19/4/2024 09:17 | Result due as well as divi to be declared. Will final divi will be cut? | action
18/4/2024 13:55 | For the time being, that would not bother me. I'm slowly building a position here. Will add next if and when the share price drops to on or around 1,075p. | huckers
18/4/2024 13:31 | New year low. May even touch 1100p or even 1050p. | action
17/4/2024 08:08 | Check out conversion rate went up by nearly double year on year in feb and March. Web traffic in general is nearly flat now year on year. As DTC is 80 percent and online is circa 24 percent this is a good indicator that a small recovery is under way. At current valuation it’s cheap cheap. | havinthelasttoast
13/4/2024 13:58 | Because they started making tacky stuff for the asian market then the bottom fell out of China. Things are looking a lot better recently with the new range, China coming back. I really like the logo refresh and the move back towards Britishness. Better typology. All looks a lot more like a brand LVMH is managing. Also got buybacks and cheap multiple. | valuehurts
12/4/2024 14:24 | There was a little bit of a bounce I think on vague recovery and takeover hopes. Also happening is the planned IPO of Puig which will value it at around €9bn. Puig owns Carolina Herrera, Charlotte Tilbury etc and would be an excellent fit with Burberry fragrances. A broker downgraded BRBY a couple of days ago which has knocked the price back. Question, would other groups like to own Burberry and could they run it more profitably? Almost certainly yes. | kinwah
12/4/2024 14:12 | What happened here?anyone? | action
05/4/2024 09:05 | Added another small position on this dip. Will continue to add if it goes lower to build a bigger position. Looking for a recovery within 2-3 years! | huckers
20/3/2024 11:41 | Exactly why I have a small stake here. | huckers
19/3/2024 19:26 | Tempted to dip my toe in here for a long term hold. I know f all about fashion but Burberry has been around since the Victorian's..at these prices could catch a bid too... | jonnyboy7
28/2/2024 07:44 | Anyone wants to know why the share price chart looks like its falling off a mountain just look at the state of the online catalog. Ffs what a mess | purplepelmets
18/1/2024 09:27 | "In the corporate sector, Richemont stock traded 2.4% lower after the world’s second-largest luxury group reported lower third-quarter sales in Europe on Thursday, becoming the latest company in the sector to acknowledge a slowdown in demand. Richemont said its overall sales growth decelerated to 8% in the three months to Dec. 31, down from the 12% increase in the previous six months. The luxury sector has been buffeted in recent months by persistent inflation, high U.S. interest rates and a slower-than-expected recovery in China after the COVID-19 shutdowns". | huckers
12/1/2024 14:25 | This site will give you an idea of their current men's range and competing brands. | essentialinvestor
12/1/2024 14:17 | That's our second big win of 2024 and all the other Burberry short-sellers | ukneonboy
12/1/2024 13:33 | Im no fashionista but isnt tartan a bit 1990s? Might be popular still in backwards countries like Russia or Australia? Suppose it all comes back into fashion at some point. Tempted to bottom fish here | purplepelmets
12/1/2024 13:25 | Yes but we've experienced a luxury super cycle over that decade, so it may be more challenging to ascribe a value to the business atm. | essentialinvestor
12/1/2024 13:21 | Remains a top quality name trading at a 50% discount to its 10 year average. | justiceforthemany
12/1/2024 10:56 | That's a very significant miss on consensus before today's RNS. | essentialinvestor
12/1/2024 10:49 | Taken an initial position at 1,228p. 12-18 month recovery potential and outside chance a larger group may be look at adding Burberry to their luxury brand portfolio. | huckers
