Burberry, BEST OF BRITISH heritage luxury brand, highlight.

One of the highlights of the 25th anniversary of LONDON FASHION WEEK, is the BURBERRY SHOW Tuesday night.

The event will mark the FIRST TIME in 10 years that Burberry has shown in LONDON and not in Milan.

If there's one thing that the label's designer, Christopher Bailey, loves as much as a TRENCH COAT, it's his iPhone.

Over the next five days, Bailey will be sending us photos that he took with it.

Today's image is of the show space being constructed in front of the CHELSEA COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN IN WESTMINSTER.

"It is such an iconic, great part of London with the Thames, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben," Bailey says, "and it's also where we shot our last AD CAMPAIGN."

And there was me looking like getting stopped out yesterday... it wasn't far off. Hopefully it'll do what it's supposed to do now and get over the 300

From Mulberry today:

"At the time of announcing the interim results for the six months to 30 September
2008 the Group indicated that the financial performance for the year to 31 March
2009 was expected to fall short of market expectations due to the slowdown in
consumer demand and, in particular, UK retail sales.

However, during the Christmas week ended 27 December and throughout January the
UK retail business achieved significantly stronger sales than expected with
sales of like-for-like stores more than 30% ahead of those achieved during the
prior year. "

Looks like a positive read across for Burberry perhaps.
