OUTCOME OF AUDIT TENDER PROCESS

Following the successful completion of a formal and competitive tender process, overseen by the Audit Committee, Bunzl plc (the "Company") announces that the Board has approved the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as the Company's statutory auditor for the 2024 financial year. The re-appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the Company's 2024 Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). PwC's re-appointment as auditor for the 2023 financial year was approved by shareholders at the Company's AGM in April 2023.

As a UK public interest entity, Bunzl plc is required to put the external audit contract out to tender every 10 years and rotate auditor every 20 years. In the 2022 Annual Report it was stated that the Company intended to carry out an audit tender process in 2023, given PwC was initially appointed in 2014.
