just got a massive dividend payment from BT.
WOW.
I must have timed something right somewhere....

BT Group PLC - London-based telecommunications provider - Grupo Financiero Inbursa SAB de CV, the Mexico City-based investment vehicle of multi-billionaire Carlos Slim increases its equity holding in BT to 4.3% as of Thursday last week from 3.2% previously. The earlier holding had been disclosed back in June. No reason is provided for the increase in stake, which is disclosed in a filing with the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Among his many business interests, Slim is chair of America Movil, which has telecommunications operations throughout Latin America.

Current stock price: 140.55 pence, closed 0.6% higher on Tuesday in London

12-month change: up 23%

With fierce competition telcos started giving out freebies...say 2 - 3 companies competing with with each other giving out freebies neither wins...all get compressed...
