Everything has been hammered so badly, at least everything I hold, over the last 18 months that any view that normality may be possible, could help things recover. Or is it just boredom re Brexit. Anyway for me it’s been a fantastic two weeks. Nearly got back everything I lost Since June 16.

Interesting if the rise has legs or is it just unwinding an oversold situation. Trump's tax reforms will hit sectors very differently. Telco and utilities will be beneficiaries. Might the rise be partly down to sector read-across from the US??

RE football auctions , the other side of the coin being that BT may well bluff Sky into reducing their bid and BT jumps in or poss forcing Sky to pay even more incase BT do just that, going to be a be a good game of poker.

I heard the first part of the court case is just about the wording of the agreement, not whether its going to be changed. It could be next year before we hear any news about the final decision.

DMF - no further news to that which I reported on Friday hxxps://www.btpensions.net/news/section-c-court-case. Suspect the media will get wind of the decision before it's posted on this website though.

with sky teaming up with Disney maybe the regulator will be fairer to BT ref fast broadband rollout.
To date regulator has been crushing BT to favour of its competitors.
BT is British.
Look after your own.

Sky now have the might of Disney behind them so can outbid everyone. If it was BT then it wouldn’t be allowed...lol

Large sells do not always equate to a drop or potential drop in sp, markets are not rational !

Outlook for share price is higher.

BT will be outbid on some of the football auctions, in my view that is good news and will be positive for share price
