Now, now, monty let's not be took derogatory to our Antipodean guest. After all, he's a genius, and an expert in many things, so we should show him respect.

Imagine the uproar there would be if we slagged off every know-all that posts on here!

1188 shares. First time. 7% rebought after stoploss. Got divi and 7% more. Stopped out again. Think about 400-500 profit. No cgt where i live. Better than putting 3.5k in a bank. I will come back.

He bought at 295p, sold today at 303p, he receives 10.55p dividend, with charges trading and stamp duty on 500 shares, he's made and good luck to him, about £70.Nothing really to boast about.

2nd week of August normally markets turn down and watch out for a correction, years with a 7 in 1987, 2007, 2017?

The worst thing about corrections is monty reappears with his oh so tiring bilge.

Hey mont, i think you really get major setbacks in bt when there's a 2 a 0 a 1 and a 7 in the date. Seen it loads of times. sell now.

One things for sure, bt is down today due to monty's prediction which he's just made up, and nothing to do with things like trump about to nuke china, oh no.

Corrections are good, you make more money from corrections for traders.

monty. Corrections happen. Corrections can be quite healthy if you hold good quality stock (buying opportunity). Over the last 20 years or more the ft100 has only gone up about 2000 ish points that's nothing really.

Pearls of monty wisdom this morning - thanks for that chap.

Only in the world of montymaths could corrections happen every 7-8 years when there is a 7 in the year. Glad I wasn't investing in the 18th century nor the 1970s - must have been a nightmare!

Take note all.

Lol, hows this for being cheerful, I think 10%-20% correction coming in the indexes.
We have not had a correction for 9 years, normally happens every 7-8 years, so overdue.
Seems to happen when a 7 in the year, 1987, 2007 and guess what its 2017.

Deutsche have been the most accurate, when these were 355p they said 285p, they got there. Now 265p I wonder.

LOL - such a massive difference for such apparent brains in deciphering accounts etc.

Just goes to prove its purely an opinion and a punt
