25/1/2017 07:59 | They had a nice jolly boys outing in Davos. If Gavin does not sort this out, he should fall on he's sword. | montyhedge
25/1/2017 07:55 | The way I see it, BT is one of these top heavy companies with hoards of management doing nothing all day other than justifying their own existence. When something like this Italian thing arises, these civil servant types are desperate to make a big thing about it. Its the only drama they will get in their careers and its a great excuse to be "needed" in order to "sort out this whole mess". They have completely overreacted to this situation and the resultant news has been extremely dramatic. Totally over the top. | gilesgraves
25/1/2017 07:49 | Are you okay This is Me? Are you having a nervous breakdown? LOL! Don't panic, BT will survive this, it has more avenues of revenue than before so all is good in the long term. The dividend has been promised to go up by 10% per year for the next 2 years which will attract new value investors. | 1i1i1i
25/1/2017 07:46 | Don't people realise that Italy is always a risk. Their banks are likely to implode at any time. Another reason, if we need another, to get out of the EU. | this_is_me

25/1/2017 07:36 | I trust all Director bonuses over the past 3 years will be repaid and all share options granted during this period will be rescinded. | philo124

25/1/2017 07:20 | If you think BT can be bought out then you know nothing about the company, I suggest anyone thinking that could happen shouldn't be invested here. | 1i1i1i
25/1/2017 07:13 | What's Canada got to do with it??? | isis
25/1/2017 07:03 | Our Canadian rags going to town over this. They reckon a bid of around 3 pounds in 6 months. So if that's at a premium you can expect new lows. | oakville
25/1/2017 07:01 | The downside, however, looks ominous. The Italian fiasco will gobble up a whopping £500m in free cash in 2016/2017 and a further £500m in 2017/18. Although BT has largely completed its investigation, there is a risk that this could blow up further and it’s wise to be cautious. The Financial Reporting Council could take this further. | oakville
25/1/2017 06:59 | So what's today going to bring? More pain or rebound? | luisfrg

25/1/2017 00:35 | Ever notice why BT regularly keep increasing their broadband prices. £40 a month for broadband now despite an ever increasing fibre network. It's an inefficient firm with a CEO drunk at the wheel. Time he took a walk off the plank. | smurfy2001
25/1/2017 00:31 | Funny how they are not concerned by their own actions damaging the stock! | minerve
25/1/2017 00:13 | 'Now legal vultures swoop on BT over £530m black hole: Trio of US law firms prepare to file suits to recover losses suffered by investors' | philanderer
24/1/2017 23:56 | The majority of what exactly? The majority of the EU, I am sure, would like the UK to stay. It is only the narrow-minded and backward little Englanders that want Brexit. Yes, you won WW2. Feel better now? 😎 | minerve |
