BT Group PLC - London-based telecommunications provider - Grupo Financiero Inbursa SAB de CV, the Mexico City-based investment vehicle of multi-billionaire Carlos Slim increases its equity holding in BT to 4.3% as of Thursday last week from 3.2% previously. The earlier holding had been disclosed back in June. No reason is provided for the increase in stake, which is disclosed in a filing with the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Among his many business interests, Slim is chair of America Movil, which has telecommunications operations throughout Latin America.

Current stock price: 140.55 pence, closed 0.6% higher on Tuesday in London

12-month change: up 23%

Lot of broadband???...first all you eat texts...then came all you can eat minutes...then came is coming all you eat data for a token price...telcos shot themselves in the foot...you keep the light on 24/7 unnecessarily you get higher electric bill...the winners are those US mega tech companies...traffic running through telco infrastructure...
