Berenberg has a ‘hold’ rating for BT with a price target of 160p, versus today’s market price of 119.7p.

Over the year thats a 40% potential capital increase and a 6% dividend yield .
During a recession people still use their phones-its good to talk.

Grossly oversold from 1ts high of 190p-thanks to the shorters(NOT)

Out of dollar earners and into value old economy shares...if you look at Miners and Oilys finished higher in 2022 then start of year 2022...while old economy shares at multi year lows...

Great start to the year from BT:

Writing to say that due to failure to install FTTP since contract started in October, I can take my complaint to the Ombudsman.

Landline ringing at 07:01 from BT's SMS number which is pointless because phone doesn't take texts and I have told them to use mobile for such.

the next thing to be mentioned will be profits from 5G rollout.
It flips and flops between the two things.
I'm surprised the price is still sensitive to mention of either.
Surely they are boring now?

Lol that's wishful thinking. Any final salary scheme is hugely risky. BT is basically a pension fund.

Regarding FTTP contract from 3 October 2022:

BT has rung to say they are still waiting for a suitably qualified Open Reach engineer. Strike days have left stacks of work.

Dividend will be cut or suspended on these. Their finances getting blown apart by U.K. insane inflation, regulator will not let them pass all the costs through, dividend will be toast, yet again.
