It looks BT and union have come to agreement, but it will be down to the members to agree the proposals

the BT fall now is as big as it was in January.
How much longer can it fall?

There is an overnight gap just a bit lower at 183.15p from 9th June, which might come into play with another bad day or two.

I'm not really worried about the share price, as it just seems to be drifting directionless on light summer trading.

Hopefully things will stat to pick up towards the middle/end of the month, as a run up to Q1 figures on Thursday 29th.

Nothing to worry about, good luck everyone (and England) Sid.

Latest consensus for Q1 is for Revenue of 5,151m (down 1.9%) with EBITDA of 1.814m, Cap Ex of 1,158m.

Adjusted earnings per share forecast is 19.9p for the full year 21/22.

The revenue target looks to have softened slightly in the past 3 months, whilst the earnings forecast have increased by a small amount.

Good luck everyone, Sid.

I look longer term. From 2023 & 2024 BT will have cost savings of £1BN per year, from 2025 onwards cost savings of £2BN per year. The patient BT investor will be rewarded.

The problem with BT is there need to increase they growth, last quarter the results were not good, the only department did well was openreach. And that was also said by Philip jenson when we had a call with him few weeks back. He also said BT doesn't have money to invest in BT sports and thats the reason why looking for partnerships or sell BT SPORTS.

Further weakness today.
Will we held 190p?
Vodafone dropped below 120p support level.
Weak telecoms?
Top slipping as looks like we will decline for a while longer.

.....239p by Chrimbo Saj? I reckon it’ll be closer to 300p. Add in some more positive news on BT Sport and the catch-up on the economy post COVID restrictions.

Watch this fly. Openreach have just pulled in the wholesale business for FTTP with great prices locked in for the next 5 years. 2.34 - 2.39 trading range by end of 3rd quarter.:-)

Tempus (The Times) tips BT:

Investor’s cash on table speaks volumes for BT’s future
William Kay
Friday July 02 2021, 12.01am, The Times
What a difference a few weeks makes. When Tempus peered at BT after its annual results in May, the pluses and minuses seemed finely poised. Now the balance of risk has moved decidedly to the positive.

There have been two significant events. On June 10, Patrick Drahi, the French-Israeli-Moroccan billionaire, revealed a 12.1 per cent stake in BT, making him the biggest shareholder. And last week Philip Jansen, the chief executive, effectively called the bottom of the market in the shares, saying that four or five years’ decline were over and that he could see a path to growth on the back of “super-heavy investment”.

Thats how it works, brokers make a packet out of BT. No need to panic im in for the meduim term 3 to 5 years and im sure by the end of July we will see 2.10.

But then after the buy backs stops it gets slammed down...so what exactly is the purpose of the buy backs...apart from boost the eps and shares award galore for you know who...what is in it for the wider share holder...issue shares with one hand and buy back with the other...
