28/4/2020 16:11 | Do you mean STD. | newkid
28/4/2020 16:10 | Not looked at these for along time but can anyone tell me if OFCOM has told Virgin to allow 3rd party operators to use their network? The whole point of OFCOM was to prevent BT having a monopoly and allow competition in the market place. Looking at the market cap of a number of other coms companies competition looks well over done to me. | newkid
28/4/2020 14:48 | Talking of forever stocks...still holding since SID days... | diku
28/4/2020 14:06 | Finals 7th May. 50% dividend cut, my forecast, still over 6% yield. | montyhedge
28/4/2020 11:54 | bt was one of my forever stocks and it's forever letting me down. But least I should be able bank some sort of dividend I suppose. Suet | suetballs
28/4/2020 11:53 | smurfy Nothing will happen until figures. Then all hell will break loose, hopefully to the upside. Any kind of dividend will show confidence for BT. | montyhedge
28/4/2020 11:50 | Nige fed up of bt being "cheap".My holding in ccl is much more exciting even though I massively down! Suet | suetballs
28/4/2020 11:18 | Monty, please give this a kick ;) | smurfy2001
28/4/2020 11:11 | got these and will top up (my average is £1.85 ;-[) just dont want to sell ivnp to do it | nemesis6
28/4/2020 11:05 | For my sins I brought a few more this am. In medium term can see these certainly above £2, and my bet is that they do not cancel divi but maybe slash 50% which still gives me a 5% return. Not on my top table of stocks but I expect BT will turn the tide in the next 2-3 yrs if you have patience ( I have plenty) GLA | tornado12
28/4/2020 10:39 | Not participating in the rally at all. Rest of my portfolio is doing well. With the lockdown you'd imagine BT would be receiving much more business? | smurfy2001
27/4/2020 17:24 | Figures if half Decent with some kind of dividend, should get it going to 155p. | montyhedge
27/4/2020 16:51 | BT have a Market Cap of £11.60bln, (EE cost £12bln.) With P/E currently around 5.37 times. Compare that to National Grid at a current P/E over 21.90 times. IMHO, BT are ridiculously cheap. Happy to hold until the market catches up. | nige co
27/4/2020 16:45 | Is that a late buy popping up after close? 8 million?? | laptop15
27/4/2020 16:09 | I would say everything in the shareprice now, that's why they are not 215p and are 115p. | montyhedge
27/4/2020 14:09 | monty...what exposure BT got in Europe?...and that Italian unit still there?... | diku
27/4/2020 10:14 | I don't I'm looking for free cash flow of 2.2 billion pounds. It a cash cow, don't pay your quarterly bill they cut you off. | montyhedge
26/4/2020 20:33 | monty...prepare for the current period...not the period passed in the rear view mirror... | diku
26/4/2020 10:15 | Free cash flow will be around 2.2 billion. That's the important number. I think prudent to cut 50% dividend and that's priced in,some bears saying dividend passed. Just have to wait and see. | montyhedge
25/4/2020 12:54 | https://www.fool.co. | laptop15
25/4/2020 10:50 | monty...think yur mind is too fixated to 50% divi cut which would still be a good yield in comparison to other normal rate of returns...why not cut the other 50% and halt it temporarily and then re instate back to lower level in 2021...by then a lot more financial impact from the Coronavirus will be clear...use that money to pay down debt/pension or whatever as bound to be some customer defaults/leaving during this period...it could still be good news for share price... | diku
25/4/2020 07:19 | Nothing going to happen until figures couple of weeks time. Ok up a couple of pence, down a couple of pence treading water until the figures. Then big movement up or down, I expect 50% cut in dividend. Still a great yield and shares would rise. But of course only my view. | montyhedge
24/4/2020 16:27 | Why keep dropping-there is no other dedicated company out at the moment. | vas007
24/4/2020 15:56 | Monty as I posted on rdsb thread your analysis there has been spot on . However on this board with all due respect to date you appear to have been a contrarian Indicator of where the share price is going. | atlantic57
24/4/2020 09:44 | monty..if this close below 116p today then 111p retest next week cometh... | diku |
