17/7/2018 08:12 | Can anyone calculate the current share price if you strip out the EE purchase? i.e. The current value of the share price for just the original BT aspect? | hamhamham1
17/7/2018 07:30 | Re: IMM I also said it was never a 1-way bet, gutted I didn't sell when up 120% but knew the risks. Rewards from the likes of BT unlikely to be 120%, at least not in the short or medium term, still, I tend to have much more capital tied up in these type of companies and look for income whilst the share price recovers. Anyway, off to the day job now. wllm | wllmherk
17/7/2018 06:05 | Ice. News says the PM is trying to avoid a leadership challenge? Is the early recess rumour true? I wonder when the DCMS report will be published, that could only leave a day or so? EDIT > of they wait till September? Wllm. Yes, I have time on my hands currently, recently finished in IT and also stopped renovating property as cannot find a decent return in it at the moment (in my area anyway). Re. IMM, I was constantly under attack there for expressing my fears that the drug tests could fail and saying that I wouldn't put all my money into the share. It failed the test, and many lost a fortune, that's the cowboy world of AIM IMO. | hamhamham1
16/7/2018 21:06 | Ham, I remember you from the IMM thread. I take it you don't work as you post quite a lot. Not having a go, just an observation. I hold these but, underwater quite a bit. Like yourself I intend to hold for several years, my retirement is 8 years away, unless my lottery ticket comes up. wllm :) | wllmherk
16/7/2018 20:54 | when they publish that report ham? | iceman82
16/7/2018 20:48 | Still bullish trend support 219 and resistance 232p | action
16/7/2018 16:17 | Someone mentioned 219p support last week, that wasn't far off. Bowl still nicely intact, imo. | gymratt
16/7/2018 16:04 | you are right ham price went up so much so quick that price retreat is normal. | iceman82
16/7/2018 11:09 | Well it's not a BT specific thing. BT is down less than Vodafone or talktalk today. Both BT and Voda down about 5% in last week, hard to gauge talktalk as their price is up and down all the time. | hamhamham1
16/7/2018 10:29 | Sometimes no news is bad news. Results out end of the month, so might see further depression of share price before then. GLA | mbmiah
16/7/2018 08:39 | Probably, and that is why I will settle for an average of 2p gain per week over the next 15 months. That's about 0.9% weekly gains at current levels through to 0.6% weekly gains at 350p area. Seeing how the share price has been nearly two and a half times current levels only a couple of years ago, I don't think I am asking for the moon here. If it takes 15 months or 5 years, I am happy to wait. | hamhamham1
16/7/2018 08:34 | Run up to quickly. | montyhedge
16/7/2018 08:21 | IMO sentiment has not changed in the last 2 weeks, what news would have changed sentiment in the last 2 weeks? | hamhamham1
16/7/2018 08:20 | Sentiment. Needs a good rns to push higher from this level. | montyhedge
16/7/2018 08:16 | Maybe. But even if it takes 5 years to get there, that's still 10% capital growth a year (on average) plus 7% divi's return pa. - increases on your original investment level if it was around 200p-220p. I am in no rush, I really think that in 5 years time 350p is easily attainable. Monty, a couple of weeks ago you agreed, what has changed in the past 2 weeks? | hamhamham1
16/7/2018 08:12 | Your living in dreamland if you think that. | montyhedge
16/7/2018 07:01 | Ice, if you go back a month or so ago, 222p would be a good price to aim for in the short term? If it can average 2p a week (or 9p month) over the next 15 months that will get the share price to 350p area. Plus a forecast 26p of divis along the way. (Again it comes down to the short term trading vs. long term investing approaches I guess?) | hamhamham1
15/7/2018 21:03 | i really hope this will bounce back tomorrow | iceman82
15/7/2018 11:07 | sicker - couldn't have phrased it better myself!! | toon1966
15/7/2018 10:34 | If you think New CEO in near future will be positive and Dt merger may be on card load it when MM Try to shake the tree I.e 200p or below. | action
15/7/2018 10:28 | toon, with Monty it is just a reassessment of an earlier assessment of a reassessed opinion that the price may go either way.;-0) | sicker
15/7/2018 09:14 | Interesting that Monty likes to make his bold predictions but failed to say that he would take profit at a price, in this case 232p. He is now saying the share price could fall below 200p AFTER the share price falls of the last week. Why didn't he predict these falls a couple of weeks ago, given he's the No.1 Trader? | toon1966
15/7/2018 08:53 | I see Montyhedge has changed his tune.... yet again. | toon1966 |
