What is going on here? Three sales this morning and we're up 20p. Credit Suisse in tow.

Merill Lynch, in a research note on the water sector issued today, noted
BWG has been the best performer and the shares looked " fairly valued".

Reason for lack of interest is due to the regulator.
Possible that OFWAT will make things difficult in the current review.Certain large expenses such as repairs and maintenance and pension fund deficits are possibly not going to be allowed against price increases. You may expect some water companies to go to the Competition Commission in due course after the final ruling in December.Looks like long battle over the next few years with several companies going for interim price increase to cover large and increasing bad debts/non payers.

Recent interest due to possible bid for South Staffs

Can't think why there is little interest in this share. Looks a good dividend and has done quite well in this sector. Any views?

I just had a look at the key ratios and the stock appears to be very cheap..Any thoughts on long-term prospects?
