08/12/2005 07:24 | Interims out today... ..and initially look good results IMO. | lundhousegreen
06/12/2005 12:36 | Thanks, results are out on Friday so.......... | ben gunn
05/12/2005 15:40 | Normal buying and selling IMHO. Highly illiquid stock in a much sort after sector and one of the only two (three if you include NWG) Water Only companies left in the UK the other 22 have been taken over and are in private hands!!! | praipus
05/12/2005 14:51 | Not much concrete news to go on is there to explain the dip! | ben gunn
02/12/2005 19:13 | Sold at 875 last friday, taking opportunity to sell into strength, banking a very healthy profit from around 600. Switched into NWG ahead of results rightly or wrongly. Still think this a good play, takeout price would be over 10 quid and I am still holding ecwc. good luck to all still here. | ivancampo
02/12/2005 09:35 | It is also worth noting that apparently Guy Hands sold ESH within days of the takeover being agreed for a cool £60 million profit so all the water only companies are enjoying a rerating. | praipus
23/11/2005 16:48 | Wouldnt be surprised if a bid or some form of corporate action is pending but equally this could be private investors who had money in ESH re investing in the sector and a straight forward supply and demand situation. | praipus
23/11/2005 16:00 | Does anyone reckon there is a bid coming? I appreciate the sector is strong and there is a promise of agressive dividends but even so...... | ivancampo
23/11/2005 08:44 | BWG even gets a mention in the Telegraph's market report today!! What a performance, looks stronger every day. Looks like a big shortage of stock, hold onto your shares! | ivancampo
14/11/2005 16:22 | Nothing much to say at present on ECWC and do not have any ECWO. Though obviously BWG's meteoric rise will impact the next NAV I would think. | praipus
11/11/2005 17:50 | Now then, Praipus. Just be pleased with what's happening, whatever that may be. Why so little reflection in ECWC/O? | clusium
11/11/2005 10:28 | Very profound. | praipus
10/11/2005 18:25 | I have noticed that BWG tends to be soft in the morning and rise late - today is a good but not oustanding example. Just like humans. | clusium
09/11/2005 21:44 | Wise words. | praipus
09/11/2005 20:33 | For sure - we said that a year ago. Nothing happened except we got a pay out and the shares kept rising. More of the same, I say. | clusium
09/11/2005 19:17 | Somethings up- 3% in a day for a water company-ridiculous! | ben gunn
04/11/2005 14:54 | Enterprise value is sometimes condisered the takeover price for BWG that is approx £15 per share however ESH's was £7.40 and the takeover went through at £5.35 or 33% below enterprise value. So you could assume approx £10 but ultimately it as much as someone is prepared to pay. | praipus
16/10/2005 12:12 | As DVW still firm and moving ahead slightly with very small buys. Again I ask is this near the take-out price? Any opinions? z | zeppo
21/7/2005 17:40 | Good idea will do the same myself or buy some more ECWC when the capital return monies clear. | praipus
21/7/2005 15:50 | Topped up to my pre-consolidation levels. | lundhousegreen
20/7/2005 13:34 | Well you should be in receipt of your £1.48 per ordinary share soon subject to brokers holding on to it. Less shares in issue should make the dividend and PE look even more impressive. Shareholders reinvesting will also force the stock up IMHO. Takeover allways possible for companies with a steady income stream and good quality assets. | praipus
19/7/2005 10:08 | What do you reckon to this? Ecofin appear to have held on to their full holding, but the price is slipping. Does anyone see predators on the horizon? Just bought a few today faute de mieux. Any reassurance out there? | clusium
26/6/2005 08:18 | IMO not too impressed with resolutions 10 & 11 under special business for AGM, " to make donations to EU political organisations,... not exceeding £50k." Better the money went to a home charity IMHO, as they have done in the past year, ( p.17, annual report) and FWIW have voted against the resolutions. | lundhousegreen
24/5/2005 18:12 | yep, holding ecwc from 150 ish when you put me onto them - where will the price settle if the cap re-org takes place? thanks | ivancampo |
