Why the drop today after the budget?

RNS -"The total consideration is being satisfied by the payment of GBP2.75 million in cash on completion funded from the Group's existing resources and is expected to be immediately earnings accretive. McCann will become a subsidiary of Crest Brick Slate and Tile Limited, an existing Brickability Group company.

Alan Simpson, CEO of Brickability, said: "Bringing McCann into the Brickability Group is very exciting. This is exactly the sort of acquisition we set out to make when we listed: the right price with strong management, great performance and a strong business model that fits the Brickability mould".

Looks like a good acquisition at £2.75M. Current net profit at £0.7M so pays for itself in 4 years before savings on some management costs through synergy and hopefully increased t/o/profit/margins through the larger BRKC's group exposure.

Bought in last week. I'm guessing this is under many people's radar being a fairly recent IPO. Financials look great - nice to see a young AIM company already profitable, generating cash and paying a dividend. Also seems like a good play on UK housebuilding over the coming years and already has impressive institutional backing.

Just over a month on from my purchase and showing almost 10% capital increase plus 0.87p maiden divi in the bag. Trading sizes/frequency gaining traction too.
