12/2/2020 12:53 | Breedon resurface A92 with recycled asphalt In part: “Monday, February 10, 2020 Recofoam technology used for second time in Scotland for sustainable replacement of worn-out asphalt BREEDON Group, in collaboration with Eurovia and BEAR Scotland on behalf of an investment made by Transport Scotland, have completed resurfacing works on part of the A92 trunk road at Ladybank using reprocessed asphalt stripped from the same stretch of road. The existing road surface was removed along a 1km length of the A92 and the resulting planings were transported to a special waste quarantine zone at Breedon’s Clatchard Quarry, near Newburgh, where they were reprocessed using Eurovia’s innovative Recofoam technology. The recycled material was then returned to the A92 and used as a base layer in the new road surface.” Also: | mirandaj

09/1/2020 11:45 | Excellent acquisition resulting in a rerate here. I calculated that it is 10% eps accretive in 2020 and given the focus on infrastructure and construction spending by the government this is a great way to play it IMO | rimau1

13/12/2019 14:51 | Jamie Ward, of fund group Crux.... Breedon Group Mr Ward also tipped Breedon Group, an Alternative Investment Market (Aim)-listed construction materials company. The new Conservative government could boost infrastructure spending, he said, increasing demand for construction and supplies. According to the manager, the company has an advantage over rival suppliers due to its vast network, meaning it can often undercut competitors who have large distribution costs. Aim and construction stocks have been particularly hit by Brexit uncertainty as investors shied away from riskier, smaller business reliant on the British economy. Many have paused their plans until the outlook for the economy is clearer. | scotches
12/12/2019 08:53 | I think I caught somewhere that infrastructure wil be a gainer no matter which party gets in as they both seem keen on spending lots of our taxes. Surmise this could impact on us positively. Any thoughts? | swiss paul
05/12/2019 16:06 | Nice buying coming in again today. Stock rallying into the close. Little correction over - next leg up here? Still looking for this to settle nicely in the 70's. Just abit of patience required. UPDATE 13/12/2019 Stock currently up 12% at 77.5p Job done. | sphere25
30/11/2019 08:42 | Next results are start of March. Given the positive trading update we have under our belt and that we are still recovering from the recent sell off, there could possibly be another 20% to go into the mid 80s without stretching the chart. Certainly seems little reason to sell while we have so much catching up to do. | its the oxman |
