Supercity, I'm not missing the point. If you think everything will go back to normal in the next 6 months then you are deluded. You only have to look at the rest of the world to see that it's not going away, what about the new variants popping up all the time ? The vaccines makers are already saying they would need to re-engineer a new vaccine to support each variant. Do you really think that testing will end soon ? Continuous testing will be the only way to get the world moving again. What Paraytec have is different from your standard LFT and would be useful in any country worldwide for events, hospitals, sports, hospitality... it's endless to what they can market this product for. As to TB and his selling, he has his fingers in many pies and I don't see why he can't move funds around to wherever he wants. If it was someone unlike TB selling, I would be more concerned. Overall, I see a bright future for investors here. It could be that Paraytec are sold on to one of the bigger pharmaceutical companies which will no doubt bring investors another nice big dividend

Covid will never be like flu. They are two completely different virus. The vaccination programme has gone well in this country but many are a long way behind. Covid is in the human race now and will always need testing of some sort to determine if its present or not.

CliffNo offense but you seem to be completely missing the point. Minimum 9 months away from any kind of production by which time most of the world will have been vaccinated and COVID will be treated like the flu.Look at the daily death rates in the past few weeks now the elderly have been vaccinated- more are dying each day in traffic accidents. The boat is sailing away at a fast speed - they won't continue to test people like they currently do - anyone who believes they will is a tad naive- oh and the directors have been selling their shares by the bucketful which has to tell you something

I don't see what all the panic and complaining is about. What was you expecting from the update ? The update has provided great results while testing. Remember a CT (cycle threshold) value of 37 is bordering on false positives to negative unlike most other testing done by other companies e.g (AVCT and ODX) which are based on a CT under 25 which would normally produce positive results. So when they say a sensitivity of 94 percent, this is way higher than what a lateral flow test could ever give with a CT of 37 (LFT is more likely to give a sensitivity of 60-80 percent). The gold standard PCR test done was not much higher at 97.4 percent. Also, it was important in the test to identify people with relatively low viral loads 100,000 virions per millilitre or less, many of whom would be asymptomatic individuals or those with early stage infection. The results demonstrate the potential performance advantage of the Paraytec test over lateral flow tests, which have only shown high levels of sensitivity in clinical samples with relatively high viral loads (typically, 500,000 virions per millilitre and higher). Paraytec plans to conduct a longitudinal clinical study over the next 3 months (where patients are monitored over time). This doesn't mean there will be another 3 month delay before anything else can happen. They will still be working with manufacturers in parallel to the study and the 6 months will be time to start marketing (selling) the product not starting production, so I don't understand the worries big delays. We already knew about the approx 6 months wait from the previous RNS update so nothing had changed. I think the share price is unbelievable and a steal. I have already topped up with plenty more and ready for the real investors who understand what Paraytec really have will shine through and rise quickly. Watch this space.... Onwards and upwards!! This is clearly fantastic news and shows the imminence of the Paraytec tests - the results of which clearly TB knew nothing about. The imminence is now slightly delayed until after the further testing and a further six months after the signing of a contract. But after that it will be all whooshing all day. But only after that. Until then it is alive money.

Good old TB. What a man.

No wonder the directors sold - 3 more months of testing and at least 6 months after a contract is signed before it hits the market.9-12 months looking like a minimum and COVID May well be no worse than the flu by then as everyone who wants to be will have been vaccinated.

No, that RNS was put out at 5pm, after the market had closed. A standard voting rights RNS.

He posted his misleasding comments during market hours when there was NO RNS.

That is a deliberate attempt to mislead the markets and I can tell you, if reported by anyone, it will be taken very seriously.

Some idiots think they are bullet proof on discussion sites because of their anonymity. I can assure you they are not.
