10/7/2017 09:35 | Thanks Bumpa I still don't understand what the platform actually does! (I have looked at the website and it doesn't help) I imagine that MR cos will want to use webcams to gather facial responses to screens presented to consumers - this will create a massive data issue BUT what does BST then DO with the data to convert it into actionable insights. Or they could give shoppers head cams to follow them round the store and see what they chose and didn't choose. P&G and Unilever (et al) could store video of focus groups - but again what does the BST platform do to make this of value. What do they do which others can't what is the competitive advantage? Can they exploit and protect it (if it exists)? I am GENUINELY interested - but sceptical because I don't understand what they do in practice and I suspect that is true of all posters here. 10/7/2017 09:34 | We now have just a few investors who have seen the potential. The company itself, obviously has, (and had),revenue projections, that TOM must have picked up on, to make it his tip of the year on NEW YEARS DAY. 7 months on its full steam ahead. | pet lover
10/7/2017 09:24 | To paraphrase, the key sentence to what the tech does is that it can tell you what a consumer really does or thinks rather than merely what they SAY they do or think - clearly this is a massive step forward in understanding and more to the point, predicting consumer behavior and is therefore hugely valuable. An interesting thing for the future maybe is whether the tech could be expanded into other areas than just "consumers". Protection of the IP is a valid point though. | bumpa33
10/7/2017 09:14 | The bottom line is this. You either believe in the story here that is about to unfold or you don't. For me the recent developments and the size of the businesses involved in these deals is enough validation for me to invest in BST: 4th April 2017 - Deal signed with IPSOS who have market cap £1.2 Billion 10th April 2017 - Deal signed with Survey Sampling International. I cannot find value but they are big. 12 June 2017 - Deal signed with Proctor & Gamble who have a market cap of over £160 Billion. The fact is these Multi-Billion dollar companies have seen something they like and have signed deals with Big Sofa. All these giant companies have legal teams in place that scrutinise any deal on the table. So far BST has passed that test not just once or twice, but three times. One time can be accident. Two time can be luck. But three times is validation. | smart_investor
10/7/2017 09:12 | This is now the third time I have posted as no one has yet answered my (important) questions: What I want to know is what the BST software (whatever it is) actually DOES and whether: 1. It has any competitive advantage over other similar offerings. 2. If they have protected IP I need to understand the detailed answer to these two questions (which currently I don't). If the answer to either question is no then there is no investment case. All imho | toffeeman
10/7/2017 09:03 | The half year results will be out by the end of September, but hopefully before then. They will start to tell the story here and the market will wake up to this I believe. | smart_investor
10/7/2017 09:02 | I've put some of my SL. profits into this ! | chinese investor
10/7/2017 09:01 | Bumpa33 - yes and I have thought along those lines since their listing in late December. Too much emphasise by investors has been placed on the 2016 year end results when revenue was £760k and the company did not have the cash to implement 'rapid' expansion as they are doing now. We have had three major deals signed since. Two in April and one in June. The growth is starting from this point. | smart_investor
10/7/2017 08:56 | my thoughts over the weekend prior to this announcement were that if the tech is truly game changing then someone would take them out or take a stake, today's news has rather enhanced that view. Market clearly not sharing that belief at the moment, though it's early days - and maybe they still think it's an online furniture retailer, like I did before looking into it! | bumpa33
10/7/2017 08:48 | New money coming into the shares today. Probably followers of the two new 'heavyweight' appointments. | smart_investor
10/7/2017 08:47 | Bumpa33 My thoughts exactly. They have been appointed for a reason & we will find out soon. | smart_investor
10/7/2017 08:47 | It's a shame because the company seems right on trend. | hazl
10/7/2017 08:46 | BUMPA33 I hope it's not a £75M sale being lined up. | pet lover
10/7/2017 08:45 | I would be very interested to know what the legal rights the company have against persistent trouble-makers, that seem to poke and prod with nil substance to their argument and presumably put auditors off. What exactly is going on here I don't know but there's usually greed behind it. IMO | hazl
10/7/2017 08:42 | Yes lots no doubt going on. The company said in 2015 they wanted a market cap 7 times higher than today. I personally think it will 25 Bag from 22P when I started my thread. | pet lover
10/7/2017 08:39 | Interested in this one and been looking into it - balance sheet for me remains a question but the "strategic advisor" announcement today smacks of the company having been approached on something more than just a contract level. | bumpa33
10/7/2017 08:38 | For those that want to read and post on a clean thread. | pet lover
10/7/2017 08:37 | Nope, still red ink. Later today perhaps. | gheebee
10/7/2017 08:35 | Honestly you guys are unbelievable | hamidahamida
10/7/2017 08:34 | "Who will pay the wages in December?" My projections are one million of revenue in December. Enough for the company to get an Christmas food parcel sent to every Troll on this BB. SINCE THATS ONE POSTER : (WITH UP TO SIX DIFFERENT USER NAMES) i am personally willing to pay the tab. | pet lover
10/7/2017 08:34 | IFF. It's the only contract they haven't got around to announcing yet. Meanwhile, statutory accounts for 2016 up on Companies House yet chaps? Excuse me while I just go off and check. | gheebee

10/7/2017 08:13 | Won't work but keep trying. Toffeman has this pumping operation sussed too. Kugler is an investor in competitor livinglens btw. There he is putting money in. Here he is taking it out. | gheebee |
