07/6/2017 08:14 | This board seems completely dead. The results were first class but the share price showed not a glimmer of interest. Simon T comments on this company and will be keen to hear his opinion. R. | retsius

03/3/2017 12:13 | oh dear you're not going to get 3 million shares for 50K surely a missprint ? Also shares held in treasury is a waste of time if you're going to do a buyback then CANCEL the shares otherwise a pointless exercise | spob
08/2/2017 20:46 | Sky, spoke to an old Willis broker from the era when they ruled the roost who described Marsh as a chap who did what he wanted and he didn't much like him. Must bear that in mind about divs or buybacks. | atholl91
07/2/2017 20:14 | Fair trading update in these times, Happy to hold. | elmfield
07/2/2017 07:47 | Hmm - I don't think Brian Marsh understands the meaning of the word "meaningful"! ==================== Dividend The Board has recommended a dividend of 3.76 pence per share (GBP1.1m) for the financial year ending 31 January 2017. This represents an increase of 10% over the dividend of 3.42p per share (GBP1m) paid in respect of the prior year. It is the Board's aspiration to maintain a dividend of at least 3.76p per share for the years ending 31 January 2018 and 31 January 2019. This is subject to ongoing review and approval by the Board and the Shareholders. When considering a dividend, the Board will continue to strike a balance between rewarding shareholders by generating value through investing available funds in opportunities that will deliver long-term capital growth and providing a meaningful dividend. | skyship
04/1/2017 15:46 | Well, You just don't like this, I am more than happy, depends on your time scale etc. | elmfield
04/1/2017 07:59 | The long anticipated disposal of Besso provides BPM with £18m of firepower; but adds less than 2p to the Jul'16 NAV: Not very surprised that no mention of a Special Dividend! | skyship
19/10/2016 00:00 | Sky, certainly the treatment of small holders by dominant holders compares badly with ASY. I did buy here @138.82 on 14.01.15 and have had a unrealised gain with a poor dividend which contrasts well with ASY where the yield - currently 6.55%-- is the only bonus, So I guess I'm happy with BPM. Both have the outside possibility of death break-ups in my view. | bscuit
18/10/2016 16:10 | Well, You are good at what you do! Pointed me in the right direction a couple of times. | elmfield
18/10/2016 16:05 | elmfield - agreed, nice and slow wins the game. Regardless of my concerns I obviously sold too early; but moved on within the PE sector, so all good... | skyship
18/10/2016 12:48 | yes i think i'm up more than that, inc divs | spob
18/10/2016 12:30 | In the last 3 1/2 years since i first bought them the price has risen 60%. I don't want income; I want growth but if I did want income I could easily sell some. | peter27
18/10/2016 12:10 | Dividend up 10% Discount to NAV been steadily narrowing. I am happy to settle for that, nice and steady as we go. Sky, a little harsh but you probably have little nuggets elsewhere to deal in and out of, good luck. I settle for nice and slow, works in the long term pretty well. | elmfield
18/10/2016 10:45 | Skyship I have held this share for over 6 months and have looked at historical data. Having seen the rns today I have to agree with you completely and sold all my holding at 207p just after open. Good company but agree they should give more to shareholders or do more to close the gap with NAV. I may return if the price drifts from here. If not I'm happy with 20%+ return since I bought.Good luck all. | blueeyes13 |
