But if you compare crude production of the 70s to today, and new energy sources, they dont really need to spend a lot on crude infrastructure. OPEC will be happy with any margin over every 5 years for 30 years. That includes periods of ups, and big lows obviously

OPEC countries have been doing huge clean energy infrastructure investments for 2 decades, whilst the monies on crude infrastructure has dwindled greatly. Seems to be inline with Chinese levels. Interesting to note the chinese initiative of plans to either build or export clean energy into india and other countries which maybe affects crude infrastructure development as well

I just sqw some great data posted on brent. They may be adding soon to the longer term BP kill as ftse sentiment will dwindle at same time for a change

They may or may not add to stock shorts at that point. Depends on their views of 8120s/06s

Now that the shorters got best prices on the stocks, only ftse to await now for final position as those shorts drive her down. Too easy

Just so you all know, the short orders for near term ftse are 8190 to 8120s for assessment there. They wont bother shorting higher price as they will all be looking at what ftse hits hardest at 8190 to also do those
