As it's left open to interpretation you can bet it's post-receipt.

It's also used not when it's $104m but rather when it's $96m

That makes it worse rather than better. 'circa' is used when it is a guesstimate.

It says "circa"....so not exactly $100m.

And it was said to be $100 million on Friday.

Not 99 or 101 but exactly 100.

Lazy RNS reporting.

This is part of the problem. No one takes Aim reporting seriously, so no one bothers to check the precise amount.

It will be amusing to see if the auditors come up with a completely different cash balance in the preliminary report on 8 November.

You may be right, winnet.
Crystal Amber managed to acquire a lot of HUR stock in the low teens when that was out of fashion...

One does wonder how Ocean have so easily accumulated over 12% without budging the needle and whilst no other major shareholders seem to be reducing...

Impatient PIs and some seriously good trading IMO

Leedskier, you are not wrong about BP, RDSB, PMO and ENQ.

The current market capital is circa £80 million.

That converts to circa $103 million.

Assume the fall relates to the fact that although they've received $15m in cash they've also burnt through that amount in 6 months.

@leedskier - or buy a co that's actually producing!

Have seen no buy-backs lately so presumably they're not doing them in the closed period.

Am also assuming they've put the buyback money into a separate pot, hence the cash stated as being $100m, but it's a misleading RNS either way.

I am coming around to view, somewhat belatedly, that the only way to make money on this oil price recovery is to buy FTSE350 O&G shares. BP., RDSB, PMI and ENQ, to name just four, are rising again today, having risen strongly on Friday.Aim is just being screwed day after day. I have expressed my view as to why that might be the case numerous times.Talking of commodity shares look at Glen's chart. There is no nit picking with any of these FTSE350 companies over their balance sheets, they just track commodity prices and are additionally benefiting by the falling £, which is down again today.

No such luck Don. Any gains here will be hard fought for.
We haven't had any updates from Crown Ocean so we don`t know if they are still accumulating. The price fall suggests not.
