03/10/2016 14:30 | I made money on this share years ago bought in around 150 and sold at 350 unfortunately only made about a grand Hopefully next year these figures will again be achievable Gla | specul82
03/10/2016 14:27 | Lot of buying today wonder if crown are increasing there stake again Also Macquarie might only be buying for bowleven if the price is under 25 | specul82
03/10/2016 14:12 | As it's left open to interpretation you can bet it's post-receipt. | gray1107
03/10/2016 13:48 | It's also used not when it's $104m but rather when it's $96m | warbaby43
03/10/2016 13:45 | That makes it worse rather than better. 'circa' is used when it is a guesstimate. | leedskier
03/10/2016 13:27 | It says "circa"....so not exactly $100m. | ifthecapfits
03/10/2016 13:15 | And it was said to be $100 million on Friday. Not 99 or 101 but exactly 100. Lazy RNS reporting. This is part of the problem. No one takes Aim reporting seriously, so no one bothers to check the precise amount. It will be amusing to see if the auditors come up with a completely different cash balance in the preliminary report on 8 November. | leedskier
03/10/2016 13:06 | From interims...group cash balance end of March 2016 was $100m... | bengal1
03/10/2016 12:23 | winnet JPM Swapped or sold them 31m. | slipanchor3
03/10/2016 11:45 | You may be right, winnet. Crystal Amber managed to acquire a lot of HUR stock in the low teens when that was out of fashion... | phowdo
03/10/2016 10:48 | One does wonder how Ocean have so easily accumulated over 12% without budging the needle and whilst no other major shareholders seem to be reducing... -------- Impatient PIs and some seriously good trading IMO | winnet
03/10/2016 10:42 | Good to know : | leedskier
03/10/2016 10:37 | Leedskier, you are not wrong about BP, RDSB, PMO and ENQ. | svenice7
03/10/2016 10:34 | The current market capital is circa £80 million. That converts to circa $103 million. | leedskier
03/10/2016 10:24 | Thanks fireplace, missed your post before I duplicated it. | leedskier
03/10/2016 10:23 | May be.8 November according to the website, is when the preliminary accounts for the year ending June 2016 will be posted. | leedskier
03/10/2016 09:16 | Assume the fall relates to the fact that although they've received $15m in cash they've also burnt through that amount in 6 months. | nigelpm
03/10/2016 09:15 | @leedskier - or buy a co that's actually producing! Have seen no buy-backs lately so presumably they're not doing them in the closed period. Am also assuming they've put the buyback money into a separate pot, hence the cash stated as being $100m, but it's a misleading RNS either way. | spectoacc
03/10/2016 09:12 | results due 8th November this year. | fireplace22
03/10/2016 09:12 | I am coming around to view, somewhat belatedly, that the only way to make money on this oil price recovery is to buy FTSE350 O&G shares. BP., RDSB, PMI and ENQ, to name just four, are rising again today, having risen strongly on Friday.Aim is just being screwed day after day. I have expressed my view as to why that might be the case numerous times.Talking of commodity shares look at Glen's chart. There is no nit picking with any of these FTSE350 companies over their balance sheets, they just track commodity prices and are additionally benefiting by the falling £, which is down again today. | leedskier
03/10/2016 09:06 | No such luck Don. Any gains here will be hard fought for. We haven't had any updates from Crown Ocean so we don`t know if they are still accumulating. The price fall suggests not. | bluebell1
03/10/2016 09:00 | Posted on 24 November last year. | leedskier
03/10/2016 08:55 | Did I read that the Company is in a close period? When is the annual report due? | leedskier
03/10/2016 08:52 | One does wonder how Ocean have so easily accumulated over 12% without budging the needle and whilst no other major shareholders seem to be reducing... | phowdo |
