"we have struggled to attract investors."

Also struggled to attract gamblers....

Why is that ?
Look at the track record of the FOUR listed companies all run from - what looks like it was once a house - the same building sharing common directors and common accumulated huge losses on the balance sheet.

Over £4.069m here alone !

Sharing common directors.

There are just 8 employees here including management and administration
6 of them are directors !
But there are 3 countries to mine - so how do you cover 3 different countries with just 8 people - worse when you see 3 of those directors are "Non-executive"

So they have more non-executive directors than (non management) workers......

But then we find out that that the businesses run from the same address have interests all over the world

South America
West Africa
Onshore Ireland
Offshore Ireland
Iraq
Jordan
etc
etc ....

How are they supposed to make a success of anything when they are spread so thin ?

Well the answer to that would be found on their combined balance sheets.

“The project in Botswana was [a] pilot for Alrosa, both in terms of the fact that this is a new country for us, and in terms of the management model,” an Alrosa spokesperson said. “After four years, we evaluated the results and decided to leave the project and concentrate on more familiar and priority activities. We thank Botswana Diamonds for their cooperation and wish the company success in the further implementation of this project.”

Can't be done any other way - it is all prospecting and a license is needed to do it in any area. I think that is pretty much universal practice.

question for atlas1234 :-

Is a prospecting licence required to deploy one of these drone things over a particular area?

I'm surprised that there is not a method developed that uses vibration is the same way it has being used for years in oils exploration and more recently in field exploration where it used to define structures using vibro trucks. It is limited what can be determined from the air.

Depends on the technology in drone. Botswana has been flown extensively over many years in the past - de beers tried with a Zeppelin a few years back but crashed it in the process, unfortunately. Unless Lucara have some ground breaking stuff in the drone to see through extensive overburden nothing new will be uncovered....unless their predecessors missed something really big.

Karowe underground is stay in business resource extension with no reserve diversification. Clara is smoke and mirrors, short term, with a fairly limited value in my view.

No long term plan? What do you call Clara or Karowe underground?

Lucara also has a fair amount to answer for so not heroes. A single operation with an exotic head office in vancouver, which should be on mine, and no long term plan or resource growth strategy.
