04/12/2017 16:54 | Fiachra.. Sorry I took a while I was going to my post 3407. I looked into BOD when they were AFD. I believe that they were at one time had interest in South Africa.. | lordz
04/12/2017 15:23 | I don't think we were ever in South Africa before? . Why should we leave Botswana?- unless I am under a misapprehension Maibe is th most promising prospect we have | fiachra
04/12/2017 15:00 | Maybe move out of Botswana and get back into SA. | lordz
04/12/2017 14:50 | thanks fiachra for the feedback from the meeting | currypasty
04/12/2017 14:38 | Fenner66 Not being a expert I don't know but I think that for a complete evaluation a sum of the order of magnitude of ten million plus pounds was mentioned. I think, however, we have a free carry on this. | fiachra
04/12/2017 14:33 | With regard to our South African prospects Mr Robert Bouguet Director who is an expert at evaluating diamonds from Antwerp was flying to South Africa immeadiatly after last Thursday's meeting to view the hundreds of diamonds from the Thorny Hill prospect. I inferred he was very optimistic. We await with considerable interest the result of his findings | fiachra
04/12/2017 14:21 | And what would it cost per drill hole - £140k? | fenners66
04/12/2017 14:20 | As regards Alrosa JT said they have not given up on Botswana. | fiachra
04/12/2017 14:19 | I was there. My synopsis is that I elicited, from JC,that Miabe had the "richest micro diamonds he had ever seen" but this was from very narrow diameter drilling(less than an inch?). He said that to this type of drilling only supplies a very small amount of material for analysis and to establish whether or not the kimberlite contains large diamonds requires drilling with a diameter of much larger order of magnitude (four or five feet). This would supply a much greater quantity of material for analysis but will probably have to await the ownership issues to be resolved next year. | fiachra
04/12/2017 13:35 | Any news from the Q@A from Dublin Last week...Anyone.. Anyone turned up | lordz
04/12/2017 13:14 | "credibility" - what does that matter with the 162 stocks? The share prices go up and down based on supposition and stories of what may one day happen, not on their past credibility - (I am talking about the 4 companies here). Tens of € millions lost by now -? No successes for a decade -? There is no credibility to lose - but it does not stop new shares being issued and bought? | fenners66
04/12/2017 12:34 | BOD has a better chance with vutomi than alrosa as there are already samples to assess. | lordz
03/12/2017 21:21 | A lot riding on that, short term as well as credibility. | elmfield
03/12/2017 21:20 | I met James Campbell last week. He is a very impressive individual. Excellent diamond experience over his entire career. When I asked about Vutomi he only smiled and said wait for the results. | tomatoma2
02/12/2017 21:58 | I am optimistic about thorny river been work at now south Africa inferred early next year and ontevreden been drill early next year 2018 1st quarter .maibwe will be a great bonus to get are hands on it . but still we have 15% we will know by june the liquidator decision. 02/12/2017 20:15 | Markfrankie.. I agree they have already submitted proposals to the liquidator for maibwe BCL. | lordz
02/12/2017 18:38 | Fenners, so are you the only one here not excited about SA ? BCL who knows what's going to happen there,,, maybe a link with alrosa and bod,,, someone is going to get it and manage it to optimum and reap the rewards? | markfrankie
02/12/2017 18:19 | Babychops this is their (Contarf) way always a good story of jam tomorrow but virtually always comes to nothing, but the giveaway Is the idea of another project lined up which they always do to make up for the failures of the last project(s) | fenners66
02/12/2017 17:48 | I was so optimistic that there would be a positive announcement soon from the Botswana mines and had been adding to my holding. Now it's hard to see how the share price can rise in the short term. Are people still optimistic of a multi bagger? | babychops
02/12/2017 13:53 | My eyes on the BCL situation see if any outcome of it. And definitely the south Africa thorny river. | lordz
02/12/2017 10:36 | Wait until news from SA early in the New Year . | talkman2
02/12/2017 10:06 | who said they were? | currypasty
02/12/2017 08:42 | Are all our interests in Botswana now worth nothing? | babychops
02/12/2017 01:37 | Judging by the number of posts made by fennnes66, he obviously has his own problems! -8 posts in a row!- is he posting to himself, o is this a record? | teemore |
