Decent volume today, clearly not everyone is daunted by the prospect of a placing.

I'm keeping an eye on this from the sidelines now but will be keen to buy in again should the opportunity arise after any funding announcement.

Just not fancying potential of e.g. 0.50p placing -- the par value being reduced to 0.25p seems a clear signal to me that that is what is going to happen.

by its very nature i think we are well aware of the fact that diamond plays are high risk.

Although this is mitigated abit seeing as all around the vacinity are oter diamond mines!!!

I would stat well clear from this share as the rare diamond was an extremly lucky find and the company cant produce consistent finds in such an inconsistent trade. If i were you i would sell while to can still break even

It means that if they lower the par value to 0.25p they can do placings for a placing price all the way down to 0.25p.

Right now the par value is 1p and our shareprice is below 1p. This means effectively they cannot do a placing as the placing price cannot be less than the par value, unless of course someone is prepared to pay a premium to the current shareprice -- obviously there isn't.

"The directors have prepared cashflow projections and forecasts for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of this report which indicate that the group will require additional finance to fund working capital requirements and develop existing projects. Although it is not possible at this stage to predict whether financing efforts will be successful the directors are confident that they will be able to raise additional finance as required to meet the group's committed obligations as they fall due."

So what does this actually mean anyone?
Exploration requires funding. We are fully carried in the Brightstone block and are 50/50 in the Sunland joint venture. To provide maximum flexibility with regards to future funding we are proposing to change the par value of existing shares from 1p to 0.25p as set out in Resolution 6 in the Notice of the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting. This has no impact whatsoever on the value of existing shares or the number of shares in issue. In what is a very difficult market we will have the support of family, friends and followers. Diamond exploration is a high risk, potentially high return, business. Our people are good, our partners are experienced and capable and we have choice ground in the best diamond address in the world.

I've been chatting to a friend about BOD and another stock or two, my Question is Will we get some sort of happy update before a fundraising ....or a fundraising 1st? ....Also I think a fundraising may well already have been factored into our low low SP, or what other option could our leader Dr JT come up with?

FY prelim results due soon.

When there was talk recently about funding needed by Q3......was that Q3 as in July/Aug/Sept or the third quarter in their financial year, i.e. Jan/Feb/Mar?

The buying price hasn't changed from before the RNS. And only 700k shares trade yesterday - almost all buys!
