Disagree. Much of the public sector construction continues through 2011. By then the private sector should take up any slack and the housing sector should have picked up.

Net debt now minimal and yet the discount to NAV is 40% vs housebuilders trading at close to or above NAV.

The director sells were all by one director - the rest still hold about 10% of the company.

The big problem boot have is their reliance on public sector contracts which will have to be slashed in a big way after the next election. Unlike many other companies in the construction sector, H Boots recovery is much much further away than most. This is one to avoid for a good 12-18 months imo. Having got in at 65p i sold at 80p. It is with good reason the directors all sold as well after the March bounce back.

Full year dividend expect to be cut by 50% from 5p to 2.5p.I expect this is reason for share price drop today.
Basically it will tick along for a couple of years until the economy gets back to "normal"
Well managed company

Agree with Llwyd, think people are getting scared off by the director sales but he's still holding quite a chunk. Maybe just releasing some cash for the weekend. lol

It looks like the heavy selling by director Graves. Would this account for the fall?
