Also, Active deal process hasn't even begun yet - so no certainty that it will complete.

Isis - live overseas most of the time now, only need to get used to the change of left hand driving :-)

Agreed and you have probably strengthened the position for anyone making a concrete bid higher than Constellation.

Another one from bloody Thailand ;-)

Millenium seem to be placing a big bet that the company is eventually bought for more than 33p.

dd - I have, but I don't like Constellations refusal to go higher. My view changed when they posted the offer doc's. I hope I am wrong, but the risk is now that Constellation will pip Active through seer shareholder apathy.

Didn't like doing it - but at least it never went to Constellation.

gg...You surprise me there. A complete turn in your mood.

You were keen to hold if the company could not achieve 38p and you wanted to hold on past April 5th to avoid crystalising the tax hit till next year.

You have sold at below your target and brought your tax payment forward !!?

At least it gives you the firepower for TND now...lol

Correct, I am now out - sold the full lot. Constellation's refusal to increase the bid has changed the risk / reward profile. Happy with the money I have made, so taking it and moving on. Good luck to the rest of you, I really do hope it sells for more than 36p.

The formal offer is effectively redundant.

Tthe price is held back now waiting on a formal counter offer or a definitive statement from the company.

Why would anyone in their right mind sell their shares to Consellation for 33p via their 'formal offer', when you can sell on the open market for at least 1p more even in size.

The only reason i can think of is to avoid dealing fees over the benefit of selling at 34p+, rather than the 33p formal offer (which wouldn't have dealing fees attached), in the open market... so, should only benefit holders of really small amount of shares.

You can sell 250k on-line @34.1 Buy 50k @34.9

Wot a game!

Damn it - I have change my mind lol

If serious players are buying CFD's at 34p then I am going to sit this one out too.

I cant see these guys in for less than 10% returns which means they would have high expectations of a 38p plus end game.

Good enough for me.

I will take 35p for mine now if anyone is in the market for themat that price - if the company wants to have private investors holding onto their shares then they need to be clearer and sooner about the way ahead.

Both my online sharedealing platforms are offering 34.1p for selling at the moment. Presumably that will make Constellation concerned.

GG - true that FDP never fails to deliver and having an MD with such a high shareholder has its strong benefits in that his interests are very much aligned with ours!

Don't know yet, but if I am going to sell it will be today.

Great announcement on FDP today, wish all my divi companies would pay it early. Or are they only doing it because BC owns so many?

I'll hold on to the latter part of March or until 'GLD' confirm the other parties have given-up, which ever comes first. I would say the end of this month will have been more than enough time to come to a decision for those concerned. I would guess 'GLD' are now pushing them to make an offer.
